Our efforts are usually quantity over quality. We had more songs out for last year's all Ireland semi final than most counties do for the final. mike03 (Limerick) - Posts: 2000 - 30/07/2014 18:01:32 1628641 Link 0 |

More a poem than a song, but one I always thought encapsulated our football tradition. Fittingly recited at the graveside of our Ard Ri Paidi in December 2012. TheHermit (Kerry) - Posts: 6354 - 30/07/2014 20:13:46 1628714 Link 0 |

"14 on, 14 was off" still gets an airing after Dubs matches. Does anyone remember the 'Offaly Rover'? I think they had to get someone to write it especially for the Offaly teams when they started coming good as possibly uniquely in the whole country they could not find a ballad associated with the county! hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 31/07/2014 11:43:19 1628858 Link 0 |
Hurlingdub its the same in Louth. There is no song connected to the county. OLLIE (Louth) - Posts: 12224 - 31/07/2014 12:20:59 1628876 Link 0 |
