Tiered Leinster SHC

In recent days, the media reported a proposal from Nicky Brennan's Committee that the Leinster SHC could be expanded and tiered.
Essentially, the current 'Lein 6 & McDonagh 6' are split into 'three tiers of 4' - Lein 1, Lein 2 & McD groups.
After all play 3 games:
- Tier 1 top 2 to Lein SFs; other 2 to Lein QFs
- Tier 2 top 2 to Lein QFs; other 2 to McD SFs
- Tier 3 top 2 to McD SFs; other 2 to Relegation Final
It seems this is the best solution if the Muns juggernaut is to remain intact.
I would rather see mixed-Prov groups after Prov KO.

I would rather see mixed-Prov groups after Prov KO." I'm in favour of there being mixed groups after a Provincial KO but the Provincial results would have to feed into the mixed groups IMO, could maybe make it work under a Swiss model but I fear that some may view a Swiss model as too complex
