Yikes. Lot of tumbleweed blowing round here, understandable with results so far. The crowing from Monaghans and Westmeathers not helping.

But fair to say we're in a bit of a hole and it doesn't get any easier in Omaha on Sunday. Tyrone not pulling up trees in the league yet, but they're always favourites against us. Could be a televised kicking on TG4, but at least it's on the 15th so can't be another St. Valentine's Day Massacre! If we can finally put together a 70-minute performance we could cause an upset, but probably a long shot.

In other news, following his retirement, fair play to the Gunner Brady. Could be a frustrating liability for giving away scoreable frees at times, but he matured well into a good dependable defender. Got the Ulster medal his body of work deserved.
