Replying To sligo joe: "Who's Dermot Connolly?" Obviously meant to post Diarmuid Connolly. One of the most talented Dubin players ever. His clashes with Lee Keegan over the years were top drawer. I included both of them in my team. For example, Connolly nearly won the club All Ireland final for St Vincent's on his own that day. Outstanding footballer. Lee Keegan and Dermot Earley were probably the only two players who did not win an All Ireland who should be in the top 15. Some great teams picked there. Surprised anyone could pick a team without Jack O'Shea, surely the best footballer of all time. From a Meath pov surprised only one person picked Trevor Giles (2 time footballer of the year) and no one picked Colm O'Rourke, who was some footballer. The only so called Irishman on here who persists on putting a L in the Derry county name. Grow up. And yes there is a fair chance it's over 30 years since John Joe played, he died in 1952.
