There's a 4 point spread with the bookies which I think is fair enough.

Open spaces should suit us, but that's a much more seasoned Dublin team so I think we'll struggle to win clean possession.

Regardless I'll be there for the lads.

Full strength Dublin team at home, if we can keep within 6, with a couple more new lads showing up and fighting to the better end and no injuries, ya couldn't really complain to much at the moment, I suppose

The players that played that day in Ennis last year that need to be replaced are -
Seamus Casey
Cathal Dunbar
Jacko
Eoin Ryan
Charlie Mcguckin

I left out Shane Reck as he didnt come on until the 68th minute.

Jacko had one of those days when he was invisible, scored nothing, and I actually had to ask the friend from Ennis I watched the game with was he still on the pitch at one point. Dunbar got a couple from play but disappeared at times also, Seamus had a game that day, but was helped by Rory Hayes being very poor, he doesn't seem to play well against us for some reason.
Eoin Eyan was ok, Charlie had his usual sort of game.
Honestly I don't think any of the 5 of them played any better that day than the lads that will replace them tomorrow night would have done. And thats not being overly positive.

Just in case you think Clare had put out a weak team-
Eibhear Quilligan; Rory Hayes, Darragh Lohan, Ian Macnamara; Cian Galvin, John Conlon, Adam Hogan; Cathal Malone, Ryan Taylor; David Fitzgerald, Mark Rodgers, Patrick Crotty; Tony Kelly, Aidan McCarthy, David Reidy.

Agree with you the team you have picked and the fact that you have been building momentum since the start of the year you probably should be winning by 6-8. But hopefully games arent won on paper!

Although my expectations aren't high, I must say I'm really buzzing for today.

Just love the feeling of walking in when you get the first look at the pitch.

Never gets old and feels exactly like it did when I was 6.

Will take a moral victory today if nothing else, really this is must win for Dublin and they pretty much have their full arsenal available ….if we can keep within touching distance for 50 odd mins I'd be relatively happy with that going back down the road tonight.

Came on as a sub against Antrim last year got 1 point. Came on as a sub against Dublin didnt score. Started against Galway and didnt score. Started against Offaly and didnt score. Hes just not done it at Championship level.

Safe travels to those of you coming up (except Exiled who has put the jinx on us by predicting a 6 point win!).

That looks a reasonable Wexford team to me. Be happier if we had Conor Donohoe or Paddy Doyle to pick up Chin. Reckon Conor Burke get that job. A good dress rehearsal for the main event down your way in a few weeks.

Going up in hope more than expectation. Looking for a good performance irrespective of result.

Not related to hurling but I was driving from enniscorthy to New Ross yesterday and saw a hand made sign near clonroche saying that Wexford camogie protects bullies. Anyone know what that is about.

He's been involved but out injured for a while. He played against tipp last week so not that surprising. Solid player.

They did. The lad was disappointed they lost to them this year. Might say something for the number of training sessions/matches the lads in Counsel get.

He actually said 6-8 points Barney! He might still turn out to be right, though I hope not! Nearly at Connolly now!
