Usually the way alright. Provincial draws at the end of next month as well. After 3 hectic months of club championships with more to come, they might be finding the right timing for starting the build up for next year.

We used to hear them in early October up to recently. Are season tickets gone? They were for sale mid October last year iirc? Seanfan (Roscommon) - Posts: 203 - 28/10/2025 15:35:52 2642037 Link 0 |

Provisional National Football League fixtures are currently being circulated among counties. Kerry are to start the defence of their Division 1 title against Roscommon in Fitzgerald Stadium on Sunday, January 25. A trip to Donegal is scheduled for the following weekend before a return to Austin Stack Park to face Galway in Round 3. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9236 - 31/10/2025 23:32:17 2642451 Link 0 |

Great to hear that the proposed National League fixtures are being circulated a little earlier than usual as it should be. Do not want to miss any of the Roscommon matches as I personally like to plan well it advance in order to have a better choice of accommodation and at better value. It also means less chance of being double booked. (family/other sports events/concerts etc, etc) Hopefully the dates will be confirmed and released to all supporters as soon as possible. letsgetgoing (Roscommon) - Posts: 813 - 01/11/2025 12:41:28 2642487 Link 1 |

And who do you suggest will win Sam instead? Kerry won the league this year in 2nd gear. Mayo avoided relegation and inadvertently got to the league final as Donegal more or less threw their last round game against Mayo. The league is up and down with all teams really trying to avoid relegation and take silverware as a bonus. In reality Div. 2 downwards are more competitive as rewards are greater. Roscommon will probably be whipping dogs and any of the rest can either win it or get relegated depending on form but will mean little come championship. winatallcost (Meath) - Posts: 833 - 02/11/2025 11:47:48 2642621 Link 1 |

I think Armagh will bounce back. Other counties will catch up with the new rules and have a new manager bounce for a few counties . We don't need reminding Mayo had an awful year . Funny someone from Meath slagging off Mayo when you got beaten out the gate by 20 points in the semi ! Donegal may have thrown in the towel but we still had to win that game otherwise would have been relegated .. League means nothing stay safe and try new players thats it . Kerry won the league because Mayo didn't come out of 3rd gear. Think ye should concentrate on your own team cause you need to ! S1234 (Mayo) - Posts: 424 - 02/11/2025 12:57:42 2642632 Link 0 |

Hmm. So Mayo were in 3rd gear against Kerry's 2nd gear. Feel sorry for the spectators so. Also the rules are a year in now so there must have been alot of slow learners. Yes Meath had a poor semi but had a good year from a low base. Pressure now on them to deliver more but signs are not bad in Meath. If Meath get all injuries back and add a few more to squad, they will be competitive. I do expect Mayo to improve but they will have to find good shooters and not lose best prospects too Oz. winatallcost (Meath) - Posts: 833 - 02/11/2025 17:07:08 2642668 Link 0 |
