Such a ridiculous thread. Bit of news for the non-donegal posters on here .. nobody from Donegal gives a damn what you think . There's a few things that are certain in life..... death , taxes, people from other counties criticising Jim Mcguinness, and the Mayo bottlers losing a big championship game. greenfan (Donegal) - Posts: 679 - 16/06/2025 14:15:24 2618296 Link 1 |
In fairness to Mayo, I recall them being dragged up quite a bit to Croke Park back not that long ago...and at awkward Saturday evening times

You can add RTÉ to that list, I get more news on BBC Ulster about Donegal than from RTÉ. The mighty Dubs have a home tie and they are playing it in Croke Park yet supporters will say it's not their home ground.

My God, lighten up, you sound like you want to be isolated as much as possible? A lot of people in Donegal looking for more infrastructure, connectivity etc, your post sounds like you want to build a wall. Don't be so sensitive, lots of non Donegal people shouting for your county yesterday.

No laughing matter, he's dead right to stick up for his players and more importantly his supporters. Good on you Jimmy.

You'd have to hand it to Jim, he can wind up a whole country lol, some of the amateur wums on here from Mayo etc take note, you either have it or you don't lol. Tirchonaill1 (Donegal) - Posts: 3270 - 16/06/2025 14:53:04 2618330 Link 0 |
Talking about moaning what did you lot do after Andy Moran left ? Moan and say he was an awful manager.. Look at Monaghan now flying with him as they have the players unlike Leitrim ! Every county moans ! Though McGuiness wins the medal for that and Donegal bunch of whinge bags ! Oh Leitrim would come close for a medal for moaning to ! We'd nearly be better off. If the MICA crisis happened anywhere else in the country it would have been sorted by now. Just another example of the glaring inequality. Lockjaw (Donegal) - Posts: 9813 - 16/06/2025 14:57:13 2618335 Link 1 |
Jees lad you are having some meltdown today, you are brightening up my Monday for sure. I haven't laughed this hard since the flying Moore kicked the winner yesterday :) peiledoir20 (Donegal) - Posts: 1235 - 16/06/2025 15:10:35 2618348 Link 4 |
This is a football forum ..I'm talking about football. You need to get a grip, and stop mixing up sport with real life. What's written on this forum.by me or anyone else isn't important. Stuff like infrastructure, connectivity, bad roads, poor health services etc are important issues impacting people's lives , their welfare and livelihoods. I know all about those issues, but I also know the difference between those issues and sports banter. Not sure everyone else on here does.

Not a keyboard warrior just stating a fact.He has done it countless times and it is losing its impact.

If yis manage to keep your feet on the ground you might finish the season level on AI wins with those bottlers, maybe

Hold on where exactly did he want the match to be?All teams had to travel to games at we3kend and if he had made a general point about it affecting all supporters then he would have huge support all over the county. Its not just Donegal affected.

I know it's a sports forum, however I do think sport is important. I just thought your comment that nobody in Donegal gives a **** what non Donegal posters think is very isolationist. Also that you claim to know what everyone in Donegal gives a **** about is maybe a bit arrogant. I have lots of Donegal friends, I'm in Donegal regularly, live near enough to Donegal, some of my friends up in Inishowen would have a very passing interest in gaelic football and wouldn't give much of a **** if Donegal won or lost. So there's lots of sporting opinions inside and outside Donegal.
