Replying To BarneyGrant:  "I like Donegal and McGuinness has created a real buzz about the team which is great to see. No doubt a part of that is to inculcate the sort of siege mentality that existed in 2011-2014. The silly row about Hyde Park was part of that.

There's no harm in supporters bigging up their team, It adds to the excitement and at the end of the day all questions will be answered on the pitch.

Tees us up for some great games over the next month. Impossible championship to call."
Impossible to call as you say and Dublin are well there with a chance.

When did some donegal fans become so arrogant ye have to beat louth first as well."
Do you know what the word arrogant means? I'm giving my opinion based on the fact that Armagh rested players the last day and still played great against Galway. Kerry were poor and fortunately got a good draw this weekend. Kerry also have a lot of injuries.
Armagh also have this weekend off.
What has Donegal not playing great got to do with it?

Replying To WanPintWin:  "Stop good lad. They'd be primed to take out Armagh if they get through this weekend, which they almost certainly will.
Kerry with a point to prove against an Armagh who've never been favourites before in a championship match against Kerry. I can see it being very tight and it could go either way, but wouldn't be surprised at all if Kerry beat them (if the match happens of course)."
I think there's been a bit of hype about Armagh's strength. Paddy Power has them joint favourites for the All-Ireland with Kerry, but I'd have Kerry ahead of them, with Armagh, Donegal and Dublin just behind, then Tyrone, Galway, us and Meath another tiny step behind. Armagh won the AI last year, and are a brilliant team, no doubt, but they've also lost two games in the championship already.

The whole thing is basically too close to call. It's fantastic craic. We even have Cavan left in the competition for the light relief of seeing them getting hammered every weekend.

Donegal don't want to play in Croke Park as its to far away and too costly according to Jim Mcguinness earlier this year, So maybe Louth might do Jim a favour here and beat Donegal, Louth will be pumped for this, written off completely which they love, The hangover and Celebrations from the Leinster Final are long over now, Off the four games this has the biggest potential of an upset.

Down have a right good chance at home to galway, They probably were the better team for most of their game against Monaghan, definitely a potential upset. But I'll stick with Galway just about.

Cork can always come good when you least expect them, but Dublin are on a roll again and could be hard stopped in Croke Park.

Kerry on paper have the easiest fixture of all the favourites at home to Cavan, I hope I'm wrong but I can see Kerry winning this with a bit to spare.

Hard to see anything other than wins for Donegal, Kerry and Dublin with Down v Galway all to play for.

Good man, brilliant humour, only about the 178th time I've heard that joke this week. Comedy Festivals await for you my man! If we beat Louth it'll hopefully create a Donegal V Meath fixture. Would love to take on a very talented and emerging Meath force.

Kerry as favourites after last weekend? They lost to a mid table division 2 side. Jack O' C has no panel strength. Relying on 17-18 players, four games in five weeks to win Sam with that panel is a big ask. Injuries will increase

Replying To Gaa_lover:  "This time of the year I look towards the fitness and conditioning of teams and more so now with how enegry sapping games are now under the new rules.

Galway finished their game strong against Derry and Armagh. Down did the opposite against Monaghan. I'm expecting a real competitive encounter for an hour and then Galway to make a move in the final 10 minutes and win by few points to spare.

Dublin did enough to hold off Derry, Cork looked leggy against Roscommon in the final quarter and left thankful the rossies were watesful.

Kerry well beaten by Meath but some key players back this weekend and should get back to winning way against Cavan who look like a side that used up most of their fitness in that round 1 win against Mayo.

Donegal big Jim has them in top shape fitness wise and one team that should progress with the 3 games in 3 weeks against a rested Quarter finalist. Louth put their lot into winning Leinster and celebrated it well, Might still go down fighting here,

So I'm expecting as the bookies/pundits expect with wins for Dublin,Donegal,Galway, kerry. Galway,Donegal best placed to win All Ireland Quarter finals. Kerry to lose to Armagh IMO and Dublin are vulnerable"
Ye I'd say you're spot on there.

If the games go as per the bookies, neutral venue quarter finals would be possible and would create a way better atmosphere. No need to be opening Croke Park at all.
Armagh v Kerry =Thurles 45k
Galway v Monaghan= Roscommon 25k
Donegal v Meath = Castlebar 30k
Tyrone v Dublin= Clones 30k

Bringing Donegal to Castlebar, Jim will have a fit.

Massive win for Cork with Limerick gone and Dublin on way out. What odds were they for double this morning? Going put 50 on them now.

My fellow county man Hurson gave Dublin a few gifts which proved to be decisive.

Now between me you and the wall, you really need to keep this to yourself now. There's talk in the County Board that "when" Dublin get to both AI Finals Con is going to tog out for both sides to get both winners medals! It's a done deal! Put your shirt on it but keep it to yourself!
