I heard someone make an interesting point about all of this. oneoff (UK) - Posts: 1633 - 13/05/2025 10:17:49 2609107 Link 0 |
Both teams were wearing shorts. It would very hypocritical of one side to object after the game because the other side were wearing shorts. They would be ridiculed If the game had gone ahead with the players wearing shorts, the referee would probably have been reprimanded, and possibly suspended by the Camogie Association for allowing the game to proceed against the rules. The CA could declare the game void and order a replay, but this is all conjecture. Cockney_Cat (UK) - Posts: 2775 - 13/05/2025 12:00:34 2609162 Link 0 |
I'd say they could try but their objection would be rejected as they consented to play the game. Be difficult to see that happening as it's not in the spirit of what camogie teams are looking to achieve.
