It's all very unlike stories I've seen from the Gaelic Football world even in these past few days alone.

- Peter Canavan complains the League doesn't mean more
- Jack O'Connor complains there's not a longer gap between League and Championship
- Shane Curran complains about 'player issues' as he resigns as Carlow manager

I remember two seasons ago there was a massive winge from football fans when they were more hurling on rte than football earlier in the championship

Hurling only taken seriously in 7/8 counties. The rest of the country are more football focused.

The minority who like hurling cant accept that the majority of the country have no real interest in hurling
