ANTRIM NOT BACKING DOWN

If it goes ahead in Corrigan it will be full with Armagh season ticket holders . They are great travellers and love away games.

Antrim minor footballers played Derry yesterday in the first round of the Ulster minor league. You'd struggle to see any references to the game on the Antrim social media pages. But they plenty of coverage for their u20 hurlers. Antrims a hurling county. The footballer are treating like second class citizens.

Replying To SaffronDon:  "What's the big fundamental difference between this and 'Newbridge or nowhere' then? Or do you just want fair rules for the teams you watch and te hell with the rest, yeah?"
The fundamental difference is that both Kildare and Mayo played in division 1 in 2018 and were of a similar standard.

On this occasion we have the All Ireland champions going up against a team sitting close to the bottom of division 3 who have not come close to challenging for provincial honours in decades.

Therefore I don't see issue with having it in Corrigan Park. Just play it and get it over with. Armagh's next game will be against a team better equipped to beat them and will generate a lot more neutral interest.

12,000 less people paying in, added to no McKenna Cup is obviously the UC issue.

That's not a fundamental difference. The standard of competition doesn't determine what the rules should be. Just tell the truth, you're on here to talk down your nose at Antrim again. Every time they're brought up on here you crawl out of the woodwork to pop a squat directly above us with your condescending waffle. You probably think you live in the home of Ulster up there with that talk. Something must have inspired it all. Antrim may well be dark horses in Ulster football but at least we have been competitive at provincial level while also flying the flag for Ulster hurling. But the county deserves better than "get it over with" and "no neutral interest" in the same game you claim to love no doubt. If that's all you have to say then why even bother sharing it.

Loyalists don't usually have a problem with southerners. Southerners generally have never been supportive to the republican cause.
