Hurling And Football Dark Horses 2025

They were probably the 4 favourites last year too. Armagh were dark horses last year, if they won it this year it would hardly be a huge shock.

In the football I'll go with Valentia Young Islanders and in the hurling I'll go with Carrigeen of Kilkenny! Ye heard it here 1st ;-)

Ya the team that lost to the All-Ireland champions by a controversial point in the last stroke of the game in Cusack Park and beat the other finalist should at least 100/1. That is logical right?

I don't believe there is a dark horse in the football, it wouldn't be a massive suprise if any team in division 1 won, also the Rossie's and maybe Monaghan, and nobody outside them will win, but outsiders to do well in the championship are Kildare because they have underachieved for a while, a qf would be a good result, cork I'd they had anyone would be another one I'd back to get a decent run but besides that can't see anyone,

I think tipp could be a dark horse for the hurling. Huge first game for them in the gaelic grounds. Dublin could be a dark horse for leinster also.

Kildare will have to get to the Leinster final to even get into the championship and an all ireland qf would seem a long way off. There are good players there and will get going well but this year is probably too soon unless the stars align with everyone in top form and no injuries.

In Leinster Meath seem a little bit further ahead at the moment - if we're putting together a dark horses to get to a qf list - I'd certainly have them there.
