GPOs can't be recruited for existing advertised jobs, even more so in hurling. Where will they come from?

Replying To FootballRising:  "There is a serious issue with football in the South East of the country. Wexford, Wicklow, Carlow, Waterford and Tipperary all based in division 4. Kilkenny don't field a football team. Wexford county board for the last few years have tried their damndest to run football into the ground. The motion should be coupled with a taskforce for the regeneration of football in the South East of ireland. Lots of provisions for hurling and the promotion of hurling but very little for football. The likes of Griffin and Co. run down football any chance they get in the belief that there is no other game than hurling. Pure snobbery. The people doing the most damage to hurling are hurling people themselves. The analysis offered on the Sunday game is wojus. Donal Og is always whinging and never offering anything constructive. Wexford county board offered a player of the week award for hurling during the championship and nothing for football. They only started offering one after a few ex county footballers started promoting one. Mr. Griffin and Mr. Fenlon should make sure their is equal treatment of both codes in their own county before pontificating to anyone else about the promotion of hurling."
It's up to all of us to get out and support our Footballers and all our clubs to give it equal treatment. That in turn is up to people like me and you. At least no young lad in our county cant access football training. Equal treatment has to start at grassroots level.
As regards the County Board and Games Development Football is given equal treatment at underage. The same number of games from u8 upwards are given to Football and Hurling. If you think that's the case in every county you couldn't be more wrong. You can't force lads to like Football, you can only offer it and hope lads play it or play both equally.
As regards game streaming the problem with our county Football Championships was hardly anyone was buying the Football games to watch. It's the same when I go to games. I was at all but one of our Footballers competitive games last year, Our Leinster Championship game against Carlow last year probably had less people at it in Wexford Park than our clubs u12 div 4 hurling final at the same venue. That's not the Boards fault. Thats up to the Wexford public. Football games are cheaper to go to than hurling games mostly, and kids are free in to Football League games. So why don't more Football people in our county actually get off their holes and support our Footballers? Whether we like it or not in our county more people prefer hurling.
