Yes. I think it's important we don't have any injuries.

Well. I should pay more attention to what I'd reading. Those are seeds not groups alright.

Not a bad draw really. When are fixtures announced? Yellaman (Wexford) - Posts: 157 - 30/04/2025 14:46:34 2605711 Link 0 |
If its the same format as last year and year before we have Longford at home , Carlow away then Fermanagh in neutral venue. Gives us a great chance of finishing in the top 2

Better group that this anyway. Definitely a good chance of progressing. Long break and hopefully injuries cleared up. Yellowhelmet (Australia) - Posts: 136 - 30/04/2025 16:32:29 2605780 Link 0 |
I think it is, possibly parnell park for the fermanagh match.

The league and championship finished with a bit of a disappointment but this group gives them the platform to get back on track and make a good run at the TC. zinny (Wexford) - Posts: 1956 - 01/05/2025 04:52:15 2605906 Link 0 |

Game fixed for the 10th at 6.30pm. So it won't be possible to go to the hurling and football. That's the 4th time this has happened this year. What's going on?

Seems crazy to me. I have it on good authority that Wexford County Board asked for a Sunday fixture v Longford but then it ended up being fixed for Saturday anyway. The theory is that the powers-that-be don't want to detract attention from the Leinster Final, but that's hardly fair on Wexford.

not very fair to the longford supporters or players either , they wont get home till all hours, total madness,

It's not as if a huge crowd from Longford or Wexford are likely to head up to Croke Park on Sunday anyway? I'll watch the game on TV ok, but I've not even considered going to it.
