A few shrewd football men I was talking to reckoned you did better than we would have, despite whatever drivel was posted here in the last fortnight by know nothings. Not a good day at the office for us today but let's hope that both our counties will do well next year. We lost because Offaly were the better team and deserved their victory. We didn't make good use of the wind in 1st half, a bit slow on break & transition, and 2 x 2point efforts dropped short. Hopefully players and management can learn from this, it's the standard we have reach for division 2 football next year. Well done to John and the lads for what was a great year overall following them around the country. Just came up short today, looked a little tired mentally, got worse as the game went on. We need to keep john at all costs, because he gets absolutely every drop he can off all the players at his disposal.
