Roscommon look to be the strongest team in the division and should be promoted. After that anyone of the following teams could grap 2nd place but at the same time they could be relegated.

Louth
Monaghan
Cork
Meath
Westmeath
Cavan
Down

Must the most competitive division 2 ever!

Division 2 was also strong last year with Armagh and Donegal (Ulster champions) in it. In fact the last two All Ireland champions (Armagh '24 & Dublin '23 ) played their league football that year in Division 2. I would say you will get good odds on all division 2 teams next year for the '25 All Ireland.
Division 1 will be a cracker in '25. Hopefully division 2 will be the same.

I reckon Louth will get four home games:
Meath
Monaghan
Roscommon
Down/Westmeath

Away games:
Cork
Cavan
Down/Westmeath

I will look forward to a weekend away on Leeside.

Are Louth playing their home league games in Inniskeen in 2025?

hard to look past roscommon for promotion striaght back up maybe cork with them, louth would be very close to but i wonder if their bubble will burst soon they have a habit over the years of fading away and falling through divisions after having good stints. cavan do similar i think both those counties went from div 1-4 in 5 years in the recent past. westmeath are ageing i think they will struggle, down will be relegated back straight away along with meath or westmeath. monaghon will finish lower half but safe. meath, west meath, down to all struggle for survival, cork and rossies to lead charge and jury out on cavan and louth, could be promoted or tank.

Division 2 is always a mine field. Id fancy us to get promoted as we have a stronger panel than last year with few players like Conor Daly Cian McKeown Ciaran Murtagh John McManus and Eddie Nolan all rejoining for 2025 but if you have away games in louth Cork Monaghan then you never know. I wouldn't fancy playing louth or Cork away. Think division 2 is very hard call this year. Westmeath are a serious team and meath have lots to prove this year with new manager.

I believe we have only3 home games on the draft fixture list
Down, Cavan and Monaghan.

Which implies that Roscommon have away games to Meath, Westmeath, Cork and Louth (Not necessarily in that order)
Looking forward to another trip back to Cork.

Always appreciative of Ardee St.Marys and Inniskeen for the use of their facilities along with Dowdallshill GFC until the day we have our own pitch to call home. Great clubs providing top venues and helping the county out.

Why? whatever about championship I'm sure it should be big enough to host most Div 2 games.

Some Ardee lass broke his heart so he has no time for Ardee.

Unfortunately for you Dickie the Louth bubble will not burst for a good few years.
