Not one of you anti Clare anti Cork posters dispute the fact that Cork and Clare are Numbers 1 and 2 .
So all you posters are disputing if Limerickm is No 3 or no 4 Hurling County in Ireland.
That is as I see it

It would be very sad to see some of them teams that Tomsmith named compete in the Joe Mc Donaugh Cup in the next few years, if the fall from Glory continues
For any one that dosent know this cup is for teams / Counties Currently, qualification is limited to teams competing in 3 feeder competitions; three teams from the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship, three teams from the Munster Senior Hurling Championship and two teams who qualify to the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-finals from the second-tier Joe McDonagh Cup

When the ball is dropped in next year championship rankings won't be worth the paper written on. There ar three or four counties who you could not make a call on if playing each other. Let alone a chasing pack that could cost any one of them qualification beyond their province.

Not sure I'd count any of the 'Leinster' teams at all. Dublin and Galway were total pants this year and Kilkenny only made it out of Leinster on the basis that someone had to. Limerick clearly 2nd or 3rd on the basis that Clare are AI champions so are No. 1 by default, and Cork and Limerick could beat each other on any given day. After that the rest are just also-rans.

Its like the rugby who's #1 in the World? Toss of a coin between SA, Ireland, France and ABs and England are up and coming. Any of Limerick, Clare or Cork could beat each other on any given day. KK are close but not there and Tipp, Waterford and Galway are not at the races at all
