Ballinamere have a group of ten serious players or so they should beat Birr and push on this year

They certainly have, beaten semi finalists last year. Ballinamere are a North Offaly team, based just outside Tullamore, away from the usual tradition of the hurling community mostly based in South Offaly. That has changed a bit nowadays, with Kilcormac/ Killoughey and Ballinamere competing at the the highest level, that can only benefit Offaly long term. North Offaly is the football area, but hurling is played there as well.
