Now I put that question back to you, and I would really appreciate an honest and air tight answer with some clarity.
I'll give you a bit of help to get you started, like, where did their structured game go, why did their short passing go askew, why was their long passes way off target, why was saka given acres of space to create first touch chances and create opportunities almost at will, now that is a good start for you."
Let there be no panic, they're playing a team in the final that attacks and can play ball.
Netherlands sat there and let them play, a rather toothless Netherlands at that.

A dodgy VAR penalty was required to get them out of trouble!

England could do it, they seem to get that bit of good fortune in the Euros to date.

England should win. They have big powerful defenders and forwards. Spain smaller and lighter.

Depay subbed on 35 minutes. Walker, cleaned Gakpo who was, before last night, the form striker at the Euros. Their goal was class, from outside the box, scored by a midfielder. He's scored 2 goals in 20 games. A nice footballer but an overhyped attacking threat. When did they cut England to shreds?

Thank you for that realdub, I rest my case.

Low quality tournament and will speak volumes if England who have been poorly managed and have rode their luck go on to win the final.

A bit of a sidebar here, but not too far off topic, but do any of you think that Scottish fans are the biggest bluffers going?
Thye go on and on about how much they hate England, want to see them lose etc etc and there are lots of gimmicky ads that play up to it...

and yet, when given a chance to be independent of the UK, how did they vote?

All you've said in the previous post is that you think they singled out the best players for not performing and that it was wrong to do so (or 'whinging' to do so). Which doesn't answer anything I mentioned previously. Pundits are as entitled to call out player performances, particularly those that set ridiculous standards as you are to call out an entire nation like the Netherlands as an embarrassment despite missing key players, playing against superior opposition and still only going out to a dodgy penalty decision.

Im not Ronald Koeman, so im not going to come on here and guess his tactical breakdown for that match.
But how much time do you want them to spend talking about a likely outcome being an 'embarrassing' performance? Especially when the unlikely poor performances of certain stars of the game are off limits for criticism, according to you.

They will be insufferable now that they've got to the final. There will be flags and bunting everywhere, songs about it coming home, thinking they have it won already.
But enough about Cork,
What about England?

Spain have definitely played the best football and taken the toughest route to the final. Spain for me all day.

Lol.

Living in England I've not seen as much hype around it outside of genuine England supporters.

This current team and tbh the tournament in general have made this team hard to love, the football played has been wearisome to watch.

I remember 2002 and 2006 the houses were covered in flags, they hype on tv/radio was incessant.
Now that they have been to 2 finals in a row, maybe the novelty has worn off?

Still think they win if their big names all turn up.

I know Celtic fans in Scotland Lockjaw, they fly the tricolour and hate everything English and of course Rangers but they voted to stay in the UK cause they were afraid of being financially worse off.
They had the chance to start the break up of the UK and be free of the English which would have added more pressure for a border poll here but many of them were too worried about being a few pound worse off.
Bluffers is a good description of them.

Spain helped the Irish during the Nine Years war against the English, or at least tried to. I think I remember reading that the Spanish landed their ships in the wrong region.
I won't be watching anyway, I don't watch soccer anymore. Can't think of anything more uninteresting.
