Rubbish, attendances at GAA matches is as healthy as ever. Don't even compare LOI , they're well down the list for attendances. Football, hurling, ladies football and rugby are all more supported. Some people just love to cry .

You're being very selective there.
The leinster football championship final is a non entity at this stage, the fact that a game where the result is a foregone conclusion can still attract a crowd that would fill the Connacht sports ground 4 times over demonstrates the love people have for the games.
If, hopefully, the likes of meath and kildare can get it together to produce a team that can challenge Dublin in the next few years those figures will shoot back up.

That is the response of a rattled person, It is the response of an amadán and somebody with an inferiority complex. We all know of the poor attendance at League of Ireland matches. We also know where senior FAI members are presently, i.e, answering questions to an Oireachtas Committee. There is no fear FAI will be getting €32 million anytime soon.

I'm not here batting for the LOI or the FAI… I am simply pointing out that GAA attendance figures have dropped massively in the last 5/6 years as in football in particular it's no longer entertaining to watch.. If you can't admit or see that then I'm very much afraid you are the amadan…..!!!

Definitely not healthy in Leinster, which is by far the most populous province. More than a 50% drop off in championship attendances, meanwhile soccer and rugby attendances increasing significantly.

But yeah, nothing to see here.

Caused by the Leibster SFC being a non event with 1 County winning around 19 of the last 20.....

Back to the subject matter....
Anyone outside Dublin, Kerry, Mayo , Tyrone or Derry going to bother with season tickets this year.?
The 7 NFL for €100 is good value and I expect the Championship round Robin package will be too.
However neither will entitle you to an AI ticket.

I just bought one today and I am really questioning my sanity! It is too dear for what you get and is not what it was initially brought in for.. It does not reward the supporters who go to all the matches.. It does not differentiate the people who follow their county all around the country and those we only turn up when the sun shines for the final. Eighty plus thousand for the final and the Season tickets have been told this year.. "Do not expect to get the good seats for the final" - that is if your team even gets to a final..

Soccer attendances are pathetic. Average across the two divisions is around 1500 and I'd say that's generous.

Not that I have anything against LOI but soccerball supporters here are almost exclusively obsessed with "us" and "them" and "youse" in England and Scotland.

I see there are a Limited number of Dublin Football Season Tickets available this morning.
Limerick Hurling & Mayo Football still showing as renewals only, youd be thinking with the reduced benefits some peoples may not renew ( renewal date was last Sunday) and create a few for those looking for them as in Dublin Footballs case.
