Jeepers the display from the Pats lads was great, they impressed me.
Emmanuel was flying, he's in excellent shape.Landy still quick on his feet too. But young Brennan is one to watch, he marked Moriarty out of the game completely only one score from play once he started man marking him. A few mistakes but they could knocked out him by next week.

Yes he did but he only got one score from play with that young fella on him and that young lad only gave him one free which he shot wide.
So that was good marking by all standards.

Yeah but only one from play with the young fella marking the be jayus out him.
He gave him a couple of frees but they went wide.
All the other scores came off free from other lads that Moriarty took.
So yeah I think that being marked out it by all accounts for a young lad that came off the bench.

Ah simple Simon ,judging people by your own sub standards and not offering credit when it's due.
I was at the match with no affiliation to either side as an ashbourne by stander. We can guess where you dragged yourself out of.

A I think you need to take off ur club glasses for a minute. Did he not score 1-4 from play?

Did anyone catch anyone's eye in any of the game's who might be good enough to play senior or even get called in to training to see how they would get on.

Sean Emmanuel and Rian McConnell are my picks and besides what the above poster says I would be taking another look at Diarmuid Moriarty and trying to find his best position because he caused havoc at times.

Alan Bowden also looked sharp, could be worth a look but anytime I seen him with his club he has looked quite poor so there would need to be a big step up.

Just on the regionals. This should be an under 25 competition and possibly cut to 4 teams if struggling for numbers. There is no point in lads above that age taking part cause lets face it if they haven't been spotted at that stage its fairly obvious they are not up to county standard.

I would have expected more than 2 lads to impress. I was at two games in Dunganny one evening, well they were on side be side and a few lads were very good. I wouldn't know there names but they looked a bit above the rest that were on the teams and it wasn't the two mentioned because they are already in the shop window and most know them.

Exactly I think that is what the regionals is all about showing casing the lads that show potential but for some reason flew under the radar for whatever reason the likes of Tuite, Brennan, Bowden all have something special and plenty of ither lads who I don't know the name.
