Tyrone Senior Championship

(Oldest Posts First)

Errigal Ciaran v Killyclogher - Errigal Ciaran

Donaghmore v Moortown - Donaghmore

Trillick v Loughmacrory - Trillick

Omagh v Ardboe - Omagh

Coalisland v Greencastle - Coalisland

Carrickmore v Edendork - Carrickmore

Dungannon v Eglish - Dungannon

Dungannon v Galbally - Dungannon

Really looking forward to this starting this evening. Hard to know who to tip overall but I think Dungannon may go close. I take it Clonoe and Cookstown will win the other two.

My pick would be, Errigal for Senior, Beragh for Intermediate, Cookstown for Junior.

Errigal looked sharp anyway, they will be hard to beat.

Shock of the championship today. Edendork beat carrickmore with ease. I think it's anybodys but I think errigal will be hard to stop. Dromore maybe would be the only team to put it to them?

A shock in one way but Edendork played half the year without 3 good county men. They worked their way out of trouble from they came back. Think your right about Errigal.

Some great tussles to come next weekend but is it fair on club players to be playing championship football at near 10 o'clock on a Sunday night?

It is very late to be playing championship games, especially on a Sunday evening, waiting all weekend watching the weather and pitches rapidly getting worse. Not sure how i'd feel about midweek championship games after work etc. doesn't feel right. Then to top it all off, a Monday evening.

I think Errigal will be hard to beat in the senior championship, but no team has done back to back titles in Tyrone from 2005 so history is not on their side.

I think Clonoe have definitely taken the foot off the gas after they got promotion back to division 1, but I still think they will have too much for the other div 2 teams.

I would hesitantly go for Cookstown in the junior championship but no doubt they will be relegated again next year.

It's crazy to think that it's been 18 years since a back to back has been done. Now that carrickmore are out and trillick weren't great on Friday night and I suppose you can't really judge Dromore on yesterday's performance because of the weather,I do think it's Errigals to lose but suprises happen in this championship. Hard to beat the straight knockout football. Even the Clogher and kilishill game last night, was a good atmosphere and end to end stuff

Some fantastic games of football over the weekend.

I have said it before and I will say it again. The Tyrone championship is just something really special.

If Ardboe can keep the score line tight against Errigal in the first semifinal then who knows. I give them more than a punchers chance.

The Dungannon and Trillick match should be an absolute clinker.

I would advise neutral's from other countries to watch this match on Tyrone TV or if possible take a trip up the road to see it live. It definitely will not disappoint.

Never disappoints, Watched alot of football live but have watched every other match on TyroneTV. Just a pity they don't do a deal for the year. Senior championship hotting up and Intermediate not bad either.

Delighted to get over the line yesterday.
Coalisland have been a bogey team for us going back a while now.
Massive test now awaits against Errigal,we'll be up against it but in championship football you just never know!
