I just wonder is the current craze of soom Gaa players wearing White and sometimes yellow boots in Gaa games making a fashion statement or what.
I do know that when Cavan won the All Ireland away over in New York in 1947, ( by beating County Kerry yes County Kerry) that if you wore anything other that the good old fashioned football boot laced up to you ankles.
Agh I just dont know where it will end , cycling shorts, tattoos, bars in the eye brows, ear studs/ear rings ough what next

Its crazy stuff Tom isn't it.
If I had my way, jerseys would still be that wooly material which weighed a tonne when wet, EVERY player has to wear black boots ONLY.
I know you well enough by now Tom to know that a Cavan man climbing the steps of the Hogan Stand to lift Sam Maguire would be met with "would you look at those white boots on him" from your good self. It'd be a pyrrhic victory to you.

I preferred when all players wore black boots which isn't that long ago, maybe late 2000s. Those colourful boots look childish to me.
