Tomasmithn here.
In conversation with a Donegal Man in the Imperial he stated Dnegal were short 10 players that were first team players last year against Kerry o Sunday
He named
Michael Murphy
Ryan Mc Hugh
Peader Mogan
John Ban Gallagher
Michael Langan
An O Donnell from St Eunans
Odrain Mc Fadden Ferry
Kieran THompson
Niall Mc Gee
Paul Brennan
So much for Kerry being short of an Allireland starting 15 this Donegal man says that Donegal manager Kerr was also very short of players

Donegal could have a good year - certainly favourites for Ulster

Yes Murphy and McGee have retired.
Paul Brennnan and Odhrán MacPhaidín-O'Fearraigh are out with long term injuries.
Peadar Mogan is at university in Liverpool this year but should be back on board soon.
Langan, McHugh, Thompson, Gallen and EBG will also hoepfully be back soon.

Tyrone were a few short against Roscommon also, Peter Canavan, Stevie O Neill, Dooher, Sean Cavanagh.

The challenge for all counties is to get guys fit asap with more games in a much shorter period time, Donegal, Tyrone, Kerry whoever can go on about who they are short, reality is all these lads to be getting off the treatment table, and soon or the season willpass them by

Shane and Niall O Donnell are missing this year also. Aaron Doherty started last year's fake against Armagh.

Add in lads like Odhran MC Neilis and Eoin MC Hugh who have opted out of late, if only we had everyone available!
Suppose a lot of counties can say the same..

Isn't everyone short players right now. The league is always used to try out new players.

Yeah all those multiple All Stars who retired lol.

I can't get over the constant referral to these players.

Apart from Tiernan McCann and Mark Bradley the rest of the players barely even played for Tyrone. They were bit part players at most.

Can you name the last time you seen Ronan O'Neill, Hugh Pat McGeary, Michael Cassidy or the like influence a game of football for Tyrone??

They left because they knew they would not be called up to the panel again. They got out with their All Ireland medals when the going was good.

I am sick of saying this to people. These players would not make the situation in Tyrone any better!

Hard to know what way to take you..

Murphy and Neil McGee are retired so no Donegal person would be counting them among the players missing..

Ryan McHugh
Eoin Ban Gallagher
Peader Mogan
Ciaran Thompson
Michael Langan
Oisin Gallen
Odhran McFadden Ferry
Paul Brennan
Shane O'Donnell
Niall O'Donnell (unsure if these final two are returning to the panel this year though)

Yes we were down quite a few men so it was nice to beat Kerry; albeit a similarly under strength Kerry.

Its odious that what was written in plain English is misunderstood by so many ... What I [posted was In conversation about Kerry missing so many (10 was mentioned ) my learned friend in the company of the great Mrs T stated.... Donegal were short 10 players that were first team players last year
He dident say anything about retirments or injust just named 10 playeres that were first team players for Donegal in 2022....

Going in against Kerry with 10 short players wouldn't be easy either, you'd have to keep her low....

Donegal favourite for Ulster? With the county in disarray and the Big Man retired?

Don't see it.

After been exposed as a Monaghan man, 'Tom' has taken a break from trolling. Not a vintage performance from us yesterday, you are correct.
