Replying To Sugary_tae:  "Even if those 3 teams were dominating underage what of it. I'm not connected to any of them but nothing wrong with any club maximising the potential within the parish bounds. The more players of quality coming through the better for all. Large portions of the city have been underexposed to hurling for years"
You actually lose more players that way,if you're playing on the second or third underage, after minor your gone, while if you're playing with first team hurling with other clubs, your part of the first team and Better chance of keeping that player after minor, nothing against the big clubs and think they are doing a great job for their clubs but the huge drop out of children is off the wall,I see it every year.

That should be the main good grounds for getting a transfer to a neighbouring club.

Great to see John kiely has extended his stay, thought he might have taken 2 years but delighted he's still there..however I'm sorry to hear Caroline Currid has left the back room staff..from everything I've heard and read about the woman, she has been a huge help to everyone..wishing her all the best with whatever she is pursuing..

Some great news followed by some not great news. Fantastic to hear John Kiely has committed to 2 more years but sorry to hear of Caroline Currids departure. We are obviously not privy to her work but it would seem her contribution to the success of the Limerick team over the years has been enormous.
I would also wish her the best with whatever she is pursuing and will be forever grateful for her contribution to Limericks successes.

Good to see 3 Limerick schools playing Harty, its very important that these numbers are maintained and further schools maybe be brought onto that level

Ard Scoil beating flannans , key game in that group .
Hospital has a lot of South Limerick clubs / players enjoyed a good win over Castletroy which is Monaleen plus a couple from Ahane . Doon game postponed .

Very few from Limerick on the Ard Scoil team this year, think only 6. I know there's always plenty from Clare on it due to proximity but seems like a very small amount

Can anyone tell me when intercounty season tickets go on sale?

Normally start of December but that's for renewals , each county has only 3,500 season tickets available and in limericks case they are sold out for a number of years meaning in December all present season ticket holders get a renewal mail which they pay to renew for 2024 , there might be a very small amount of non renewals and they go on sale then but last year it was about twenty and there's no notice of when they go in system for sale but I do know someone who got one last year who was looking it up every day . Limerick hurling season tickets are a very sought after ticket so won't be easy unless your renewing a ticket .
PS Limerick are the only Hurling season ticket that sells all 3,500 with Cork & Galway circa 3,000 sales . In football Dublin , Mayo & Tyrone fully sold out last year .
