Replying To Tacaí Liatroma: "10 points for me I think" When you have a correct win result, don't you get 1 point for predicting the win and 5 points for getting the exact score i.e. 6 points in all? That's the way I'd read it and expect it to be anyway.
If you get a draw correct you should be getting 8 points I would think (3 for predicting the draw and 5 for the exact score). Draws have no margin for error and so are harder to predict so should be valued higher than predicting a win and the exact margin of the win imo.

None were huge surprises though" Don't think Meath were that much of a surprise tbh. Beat Donegal by 7 in a challenge last week apparently and they got a bounce with Colm. And Shane walsh finally is hitting his potential. Also have beat cork in league last few of times including away. For me it was Donegal and Roscommon too huge upsets.

5 points only for getting the exact winning margin right.
3 points only for calling a draw.
I have a system in place from last year that works well and I'm not going over 80 predictions again to update the scores.
(I'm not disagreeing with you btw that draws are harder to predict. But it's what was agreed upon last year so I went with the same again)

None were huge surprises though" Donegal with their record in Ballybofey against Kerry without 10 first choice players not much of surprise.
Fermanagh at home tough to beat but a mini surprise given the pre season form
Cork are flaky can lose to anyone in Div 2 and Meath with their new manager bounce not overly surprising.
That leaves Roscommon as the biggest surprise result of the weekend. A seen on here most was predicting Tyrone to win by a few points to spare yet the opposite happened.
