It appears as if there is one or two pro sky posters here who are influenced by their own egos.

It isnt a professional set up bar the players being paid. far from it."
Sport prep has 3 broad aspects - nutrition, training and rest. The big difference between pro and amateur is rest. Pros rest a lot, amateurs with jobs struggle badly with that aspect.

Otherwise, according to people with first hand experience, little difference. The Tyrone S&C guy was headhunted by local pro Rugby

https://www.irishnews.com/sport/gaafootball/2019/07/19/news/ulster-rugby-excited-by-recruitment-of-tyrone-coach-peter-donnelly-1666340/

- do you really think they'd have done that had they perceived that he was working at a low level? And the Tyrone County team had the Ulster Rugby S&C guy for a while. Both trainers worked well in their new roles, and both admitted they saw little difference in standard of diet, training etc between amateur inter-county GAA and pro Rugby, but maybe you know more than they do?

why? how is telling the truth about trying to find the sunday game on in a pub in town sticking the boot in? thats just the way it is, wexford hurlers were not playing in the first case i mentioned, the case of the clare v wexford game happened
not a pub in our biggert town had it on, much to the shame of the phblicans, might match u better to face facts, im sure it was far far from the case in most pubs but it was the case in many all over

How can anyone on this be a "look at me" ego type when it's an anonymous forum?

Are you basing this assertion on hands on experience in both types of sports?

What do green thumbs show? That you are good at growing flowers and vegetables?

You must have been exhausted after walking round dozens of bars. How did you manage it in 70 minutes plus halftime?

Basing it from what I've seen of close friends while been involved in both inter County set ups and professional rugby set ups.
Why?

I wasn't making that observation based on 1 post, from reading the forums here over the years your distain for Wexford hurling is obvious.

I haven't a clue Supersub15 I only post stuff for debate/information/amusement of others. Not for green or any other colour of thumbs being PC about it!
