Late County Finals - Split Season

The pros and cons of starting the national league at the end of February, with All Ireland finals at the end of August and All Ireland club finals in mid February should be considered. Same timescale just everything moving a month later.
National league would then start after Sigerson and Fitzgibbon cups are completed.

It might make finishing club championships harder with pitch availability etc.

I'd think what you'd want is the National League being played alongside Club Provincial and All Ireland championship and its link to championship being removed. I don't think it's added much to the competition being linked. Top players still don't line out for it.

I'd then think a championship starting in April with Provincials moving on to a group phase with it determining the following season's championship could make sense.
