Lots of old clips doing the rounds of Kerry Galway clashes from years gone by. What would your favourite 15 be? Not necessarily the best ever in their position, but players you particularly enjoyed watching. (Not incuding players from your own county)
Not a bad wee team here....
1. Cluxton (Dublin)
2. Lockhart (Derry) 3. Moynihan (Kerry) 4. Lynch (Cork)
5. T O'Sé (Kerry) 6. McCarthy (Dublin) 7. Geraghty (Meath)

Lee Keegan (Mayo) instead of Lockhart (Derry)
Karl Lacey (Donegal) instead of Donnellan (Galway)
Obviously I could not include my own county man Dermot Early. The Gooch must be close to selection as well.

You could maybe put Lacey at corner back and O'Sé out to wing back. Karl won a corner back All Star in 04 I think it was.

An absolute gent by the way. How would you compare his aggression levels with levels of Brendan Harrison, Stephen Coen, Padraig O'Hora, Keith Higgins, Chris Barrett, Colm Boyle, Lee Keegan?

Pre injury he used to always be right beside his man and always got something on the ball when it came in when forward was trying to secure possession, often a foot. He probably wasn't as aggressive a tackler as some you mentioned but I found that aspect of his game extremely enjoyable to watch. He was one of the best defenders in the country before his injury from around 2012 - 2014.
Just saw OP said not to pick from your own county but too late for that

My attempt, no Matty Forde per the rules. Sticking to one per county too:
Beggan (Monaghan)
Keegan (Mayo- although best at 5) Canty (Cork) Keane (Westmeath)
Glynn (Wicklow- had to be included) McGeeney (Armagh) McCaffrey (Dublin)
Tohill (Derry) Galvin (Limerick)
Donnellan (Galway) Murphy (Donegal) Geraghty (Meath)
Clifford (Kerry) Canavan (Tyrone) Browne (Tipp)

Interesting thread.
I'd watch a lot more hurling than Gaelic football so don't feel qualified to pick a 15.
But in terms of enjoyment I'd have to pick out three players: Ciaran Kilkenny of Dublin, Lee Keegan of Mayo, David Clifford of Kerry.
Kilkenny because he is a superb athlete and his work rate for his team has been outstanding. He has the skill and positional nous to be an asset to any team through the ages.
Keegan because he's just a cut of old style defender meets modern day footballer. Willing to get stuck in, brave, skilful and he makes games more interesting when he's playing.
David Clifford is possibly the most skilful player in football. It is a joy to see him receive a ball with his back to goal. What happens next is anyone's guess but it is usually a score.
As a Limerick man, John Galvin was an outstanding player. I think he would have made any county team when he played for us.
