Maybe then , you would do well to focus on your own county! Wexford need all the help they can get…. Hurling and football!

Wow, " big headed losers living in the past!" That must surely be Man Utd. that you're on about, Viking! I cannot believe that anyone would utter such a statement about the mighty '17-years-without-Liam' county Cork.

I see we have a return from the know all yank, sometimes from Florida, other times Tokyo, and who knows where else. Hoganstand is lucky to have insightful posters like him!

Better than be from 30 all Ireland's county cork, than county USA, where no doubt if they fielded a team, would have Donald Trump full forward, with Biden and DeSantis in the corners.

Trying my best Rockies!!! Seriously though, and ball hopping aside, how do you think scrapping the Provincial Championships is going to help hurling in general or your county in particular?
I was talking to a customer who remembers the 70s well. He thinks if there hadve been an open draw at the time we might well have won at least 1 and maybe more AIs during the decade. We had a team backboned by minor and u21 AI winning players. But 1st up we had to get over Kilkenny who had a great team at the same time, and the 3 occasions we managed this we came up against a superb Cork team. He reckoned had there been no Provincial Championships at that time then by law of averages Cork and Kilkenny might have ended up on the same side of the draw at least half the time. A late good friend from Limerick also thought the system didn't do Limerick any favours at that time either.
One good thing about low expectations is small things bring you great joy. I'm sure alot of your current players would love to win another Provincial title. And younger fans also. In my time you had a good team in the early 90s and another around the turn of the Millenium. Apart from that you have been pretty bang average the last 30 years.

Irrelevant really! What you or I think will not influence what the GAA does. To be honest, I wouldn't think it's high on their agenda… Winning Munster championship saves playing one game, loser still advances. In bygone times, with straight knockout competition, winner of Munster or Leinster advanced directly into all Ireland final…loser was eliminated. Provincial final meant more!

Jaysus, now that you mention them, Trump, Biden and DeSantis would have been fair helpful, had they been available to Kingston.

I must forward their credentials to Pat Ryan, as soon as possible. And do you know what? I'll include Mitch McConnell as well. He may very well be the very man to get Cork over the line after 18 years of huffing and puffing and failure.

Was it any wonder that Nash crossed over the border to a modern day hurling power, not one that's just a relic from the past? And little rock is now crying over it, like a child who lost his ice-cream.

Mitch McConnell,Tucker Carlson and Hannity forming a line of steel. No other county would have a chance!

Mitch McConnell.. that made me laugh. Poor guy looks so old and decrepit … not sure he'd last full 70 minutes. Maybe you'd don the old red white and blue yourself? Bring some youth to side? After all, you're forever young!

Im sure Galway got to a few all Ireland finals back then too? They were probably the best team in Ireland in the 80s!
Winning a Munster Championship is a great thing in itself. The bonus is a place in the AISF. Not the other way around.
Since 2006 you have won Munster 3 times without even reaching the AI final any of those 3 years.
Tipp, Waterford and Limerick have all reached more Munster finals than you in that time also, with Tipp winning twice as many titles as you. Must be very irritating!
Are you sure there's not that thing going on that went on that time you finished last in the League and got it restructured? You know, get rid of the Munster Championship as you are becoming less successful in it?!!!

Maybe hold off on Biden and Trump! Aul Joe falling asleep in the corner, and Donny will say the scoreboard is inaccurate! That could be an issue.

I'm sure pat Ryan is an excellent appointment.
However, there is a background story about the speed of his appointment that is not emerging. Cork GAA announced Kingston's resignation on the 3rd July and announced Ryan's appointment on the 4th July. Highly unusual, surely. Ryan was lined up, obviously; does this mean that Kingston was fired?
Cork GAA omerta?

Provincial titles are really not important to me. It could be important to the GAA,and that's what matters. Personally I couldn't give 2 iotas for the provincials, but that's me! But, keep on posting about it.., someone will read it!
