Poor old cockney can be a bit slow on the uptake at times

Great to see both referendums defeated.

Not a vegan or vegetarian, but almost everything you consume is plant-based.

Also, "there'll be a lot of theys", just say "they'll be"

A victory for the common sense of the Irish people. I never saw the need for this referendum, and the reasons for change were never fully explained, especially 'durable relationships',

Replying To cavanman47:  "'Nothing fortuitous whatsoever'

Let's discuss that. .

I would say it was fortuitous that our right wing was lying prone on the ground when they scored their first try down our right wing.

I would say it was fortuitous that Frawley was concussed when they round him for their second try.

And I would certainly say Ellis Genge was fortunate not to be red carded for his shoulder barge to a prone Tadhg Furlong at ruck time.

England were good. Ireland were bad. England still needed a lot of fortune to come out the right side of the result."
A few things went against us yesterday for sure, however, thats sport and we have to take the good with the bad. England were good yesterday and played a much more expansive game than Ireland expected. Back to back Grand Slams have never been won since 6N started and that only add's to the popularity of competion, great viewing figures once again yesterday which will be repeated next week. We need a few tweeks, lineout woe's have been allowed continue for too long, but overall we are still in good order and fantastic to see both our senior and u20 still well placed to win another double next weekend.

You missed part of my point there. Have a re-read if you have the time.

But, granted, I totally take your first point re plant based.

The ham-fisted attempt at pronoun humour?

Yep. Though it was genuinely meant as tongue in cheek. No offence intended.

Interesting racing so far over at Cheltenham. Gaelic Warrior trotted up. Has the look of a good one now that he seems to have sorted out the jumping.

State Man ought to do same in Champion hurdle unless he falls or something mad happens. Hopefully he does it in good style and time to prove he might have done it against the Henderson horse.

RTE are supposed to be this great public service broadcaster we all need so badly, seems to me they are just a mouth piece for the gov and spend more time these days reporting about themselves, either that or some in detail court reports that not many are interested in barring the parties involved I suppose.
They certainly aren't broadcasting what the majority of people I talk to are concerned with.

What are those you talk to concerned about that rte should be talking about

No need to apologise to Breff.
You can be sure he has sinned too.

There was no need to apologise, hence they didn't
