Yes, very sad news on the passing of the great Nudie. A class act. My uncle (Tyrone) played against him on many occasions and he often acknowledges him as being one of the greatest... RIP

RIP to the wonderful Nudie Hughes. A tremendous player, truly special, as his 3 all stars would attest to, and a man who fought such a brave battle with his illness.

RIP Nudie Hughes. Id only started going to monaghan games as a child when he was nearing the end of a great career but I recall his displays in the summer of 88 in Clones a wonderful talent and a really decent man to boot. He had a great attitude to life and remained positive despite the terrible illness he had.
