Replying To Monaghangeael:  "Is any of those 5 back tho before the end of the season? Harps had also at lest 2/3 starters out that day too."
Won't have 3 of them back tbf as long term injuries. Harps have to make top 3 yet. So plenty to play for.

Big day for the harps today. If killanny beat then it's out of their own hands. Blayney are guaranteed a quarter final now but they'll be needing a big win I think if they want to finish top. I fancy killanny by 2 and Blayney by 2

Harps had a super win considering they were missing both their main forward and defender. Mc Manus out for the year going by reports.

On fire today with two wrong predictions, shootout the next day between clone vs killanny after those results

Scotstown have entered the championship…
Serious running power brought to their game today. Obviously have been operating in second gear until the break last week.

Wasn't too far off now. But the underdogs of intermediate are going to sit back and relax now while they wait for their two semi finals.

Intermediate's Open:
It's proving to be a brilliant weekend of football in intermediate. With a superb harps win and the draw between clones and Blayney is massive for clones leading into their final fixture ( although meaningless for Blayney as they top the group anyway).

Today's fixtures should be a great showing of Monaghan football also and I'm hoping to get to Carrick and Donaghmoyne. I think donaghmoyne will get it done but time will tell.

To be fair they shouldn't of been down if they had looked after their juveniles over the years. Its mad to think that Ballybay are the only town team for now in seniors.

Was at Clontibret V Truagh Saturday - Good enough game but Clontibret just had too much on the day. Gary Mohan was good before going off injured. Any update on this injury?

McManus really made hay with the wind at his back as did Hughes coming off the bench. Really was a game of two halves.

Noticed a lot of shouting between Traugh players and Managers though which doesn't look good as a neutral. A lot of rough language used also.

All to play for next weekend for Corduff, Clontibret and Scotstown. All can top the group.

Inniskeen into the semi finals already on the other side.

Could we call this moving weekend in the Monaghan championship?

Senior:
Big wins for Inniskeen and Magheracloone. Latton losing at home would have hurt. Ballybay in trouble but massive game next week v Latton to save themselves.
Scotstown hit a big score, Clontibret likewise but Truagh down and out.

Intermediate:
Big win for Donaghmoyne but what happened Carrick? They were much fancied before this weekend. Keeps Doohamlet in with a shout of finishing second. Drumhowan and Toome look down and out.
Castleblayney top the group with a game to go, Harps on the rise and Killanny falter. Shoot out next week to see who finishes second between Harps, Clones and Killanny, last two playing in a winner takes all. Tyholland are gone.

Junior:
Emyvale get a scare from Currin. What has happened Seans? Top of the league for a long time and now one win in four championship outings.
Eire Og back on track with a big win over Rockcorry and Blackhill beat Aghabog and can top the group with a win at Oram next weekend.

Blayney have dominated at minor level and other juvenile levels for years and years.

Nothing new there, should have asked for some advice from the opposing sideline/gantry

Tyholland still in with a shot and would have no fear of the harps goes to head to head rather than score difference I believe

What do you mean by that?

Just noticed players answering back to their management on the line and between eachother on the field also.
