Trying to give my predictions with a bit of my own insight on the game. Gary's return might be sooner than expected.. I'll not give away too much.

Junior seems to be the main talking point of this group so it's hard to not keep up to date with everything that is going on. As I got all the predictions wrong last week it would prove I probably know nothing about junior. Considering the rest of my predictions I was pretty bang on with the senior ones.. apart from corduff who completly **** the load. All the best at the weekend yous would want to get the season up and going right soon. Big step up for corduff with banty considering your first ever senior championship win was in 2023 against my own club truagh which was 1-13 to 11 pts If I can remember correctly. Congratulations!"
Not hard to look up what score was in the final in 2023 really looks like your just here to talk nonsense

Convenient this one lad. U can remember 2023 championship defeat but can't remember your great win in semi last year. Get a grip stick to the farming lad

Seem to contradict yourself a lot on this forum. Just out of interest as it seems you support various clubs what club is it that you do support?

Anyone anything about the struggling teams in junior at the moment is there any chance in them in the coming years to make a final in junior or even to go up?? An example I'm thinking of is currin No reserve senior team haven't had a juvenile u16 or minor team since I can remember what is going on there. Will they ever find themselves out of junior the way they are going on, care to share thoughts on this anyone?

You'd wonder why wouldn't you….

Mc currin play a part in this heading off to the united parishes
Small club with low numbers not much to pick from

Not too sure if they do or not I think a few men stepped away last year after their defeat in the champo qf. After a brilliant start to their champo campaign coming top of their group.

Currin is on the upward curve. U14s in div1 (yes taking hammerings but they are there!) U16s and minors doing well albeit amalgamated. Producing the young Kearns brothers. That's all they need to do, 2/3 players added into senior team each year. It's a marathon project not a sprint but the win last weekend is another step in the right direction. A junior semi final should be the target and obviously to go a step or two further than that would be mighty. I think most clubs in Monaghan are cheering for them after the debacle

The ones that survive that I can never understand is Blackhill and Toome. Don't think either has a church, a school or a shop. They are basically small parcels of land east and west of Castleblayney. Don't know a lot about the structures they have underage but looking at the teamsheets for both, I'd guess they don't have many new players coming through.
