Hill 16 is CLOSED for the Leinster Hurling Final.

Hogan and Cusack Stand tickets are €40 each.

And people are wondering about why attendances are low this year.....

Replying To Fionn:  "Hopefully we can give the Cats a good rattle in 2 weeks Barney.

The win yesterday should give the players a little extra confidence in themselves.

Looking forward to seeing how we get on, and hoping we bring a big support to the game."
No reason ye can't give the cats a game,, well capable of it,, forget about giving them a rattle,, Dublin hurlers should be going up there fully believing they can win,

They would easily have sold 4/5,000 Hill through Parnell Pass and clubs. Solely on atmospheric grounds this makes no sense at all. Will be small crowd, boosted by Offaly in McDonagh to maybe 25k (same as last year), maybe higher as footballers not out that weekend.

DCB cancelled all the club games that day and hopefully clubs will follow example of Crokes in particular in bringing along large numbers of younger members and players.

I see Hill 16 is now open for the Leinster hurling final. Great news and good to see common sense prevailing. Tickets at €30

Bit of pressure from clubs via DCB worked this time. Be as many on Hill as there will be in either stand most likely.

Well that makes a bit of sense but €30 is a bit steep for the Hill don't you think.. if seated in the stands is €40..? but good it's open

Think that's the usual for any final and for quarter and semis in AI series. It is steep enough. When you see the prices you further understand why people are choosy about which games to attend. Travel, food and a few brats and you be talking about a fair whack for a family for a few hours.

We'd already taken the stand option so slightly miffed off although standing for 3/4 hours won't be missed! Hoping to catch most of McDonagh final too.

Good that the Hill is open.

Plenty of lads genuinely would not have gone if it wasn't open!

Quick reminder to any making the trip to Breffni tomorrow evening.

Probably best to avoid Virginia, especially en route home, after a shock defeat!! ;)

Head for Ballinagh, Kilnaleck, Oldcastle and rejoin M3 just north of Kells.

We have a few injuries in the camp now.

Half a dozen players down at the minute.

Hopefully some clear up very quickly.

Is McCarthy injured Fionn? If so whats the issue?

Any update on Gannon?

Who are the others and any idea of the injuries?

Let's just say 2 look as though they are gone for the season.

Bit of a worry on the 3rd. Scans scheduled.

Dublin will have neither James McCarthy or Lee Gannon available for their All-Ireland SFC clash with Mayo in two weeks, according to Dessie Farrell.
Speaking after Saturday's cakewalk win in Breffni Park, Farrell was pessimistic about either's chances of involvement.

Neither player was part of the Dublin panel and asked whether they might recover in time for Mayo, Farrell replied: "No, probably not if I'm being truthful. But we're doing everything we can to get them back as quickly as we can. We'll see how that goes. Two weeks. It's going to be a challenge."

McCarthy picked up an injury in the Leinster final win over Louth while Gannon hasn't played since damaging a hamstring on the occasion of the last meeting of Dublin and Derry, in the League on March 2.

Dubs fans and team really looking forward to heading into the West to play Mayo in the nominated neutral ground in Sligo.

Should be a great atmosphere.

It should give a little insight into where both teams at currently at, it terms of All Ireland credentials.

Hopefully a full house. Have my ticket secured.

Massive game for the Dublin Hurlers tomorrow evening in the Leinster Hurling Final.

We are hoping to become Leinster Senior Hurling Champions for only the 2nd time since 1961, and 1st since that memorable day in 2013.

The Cats going for 5 in a Row but did achieve 7 in a row Leinster titles in 2011. And actually won 12 out of 13.

It is a massive ask for the Dubs. Kilkenny are 1/4 odds for the title.

Hoping we can put it up to Kilkenny tomorrow but I am going to the game more in hope, than expectation.

Would love to see a big Dublin support in Croker tomorrow.
Hearing about 25,000 expected only.

Anyway, great occasion for the Dublin Hurlers, and hope they put in a big performance against the mighty Cats.
