So now that the dust has settled on the Dublin SHC, I have to say I felt for Lucan.
To lose out 1-20 to 0-22 when leading by 2pts on 60minutes was heart breaking for them. Will they ever get a better chance of winning their maiden Dublin SHC.???
As for Na Fianna - wow, 3 in a row and their 5th final in last 5 year is some achievement. They fought to the very end and fell over the line. I actually thought Lucan would equalise in that last passage of play. But not to be for them.
I dont like to give ref's a hard time but wth - that penalty decision for the Glasnevin men..!!!
Hopefully Lucan can win it next year.
As for NF - an unbeaten season in Dublin and now on to Leinster. They will need to improve on the performance v Lucan though.
Hopefully we will see some new faces in the Dublin Senior Hurling squad next year.
Leinster club championships now await for Boden & NF - I hope both give a good account of themselves....

He had already given a close in free for Na Fianna and was playing advantage so if second offence occurred inside square is that a penalty or ought he have gone back outside the 21?
Not 100% myself on that, the Church End is the place for controversial penalties, for sure!
