Indeed, forgot abouty Multy going down, they will be looking to bounce straight back. Didn't see their games in 2021 but 4 losses and a draw not good with -24 score difference.
Any other updates on managers ? I hear Peter Leahy's name bandied about but nothing reliable.

He is a former Westmeath minor captain, and captained CFCW when they won the intermediate about 10 years ago. His brother was Castledaly manager last year (and may still be?) if I remember right. Played with Tyrrellspass in a couple of their final defeats to Lomans.

Surely no change at Shamrocks. Their aim last year would have been to get back up to Group A for 2022, which they achieved. Most on here didn't even expect them to manage that.

Has Declan Kelly been confirmed at Lomans again this year?

Not officially confirmed as far as I know but the word on the street is that he is staying for 1 more year. You'd imagine he'd have his eye on the Offaly senior job. I presume he is continuing as U20 boss.
Haven't heard anything about McHale or Sheedy but you'd imagine if they were staying on it would be sorted by now.
Garrycastle also an interesting vacancy.

That's a very strong management team set up in Garrycastle. They will be a force this year no doubt. Still on whispers from Mullingar Shamrocks.

No surprise but not convinced 2 big names like that is the way to go.
Looks to me as if the club put the 2 lads together but of course I could be totally wrong.
Dolan and Keane worked well it seems so maybe that is the model that want to continue with.
Every year I think Garrycastle cannot continue to be contenders and every time they prove me wrong.
So we are still waiting on Shamrocks, Killucan, Athlone to confirm ?

Not sure why a club would publicly confirm that a manager is staying on. We should presume they are, unless we hear otherwise.

Garrycastle's appt is a courageous one as joint managers haven't a history of success in any sport. Connerton's track record with Longford was very impressive. One imagines clock is ticking for Garrycastle to remain as serious contenders for senior titles given their recent underage record.

How long have we all been saying that for? They haven't won a division 1 underage title in something like 20 years. Apart from a minor title won as part of an amalgamation. Hasn't been holding them back. They clearly have an excellent culture in the club. Numerous lads who didn't stand out at underage going on to be very good senior players.

First of all if you read the post they are not joint manager. Denis Connerton is the manager and John Donellan is the coach. As as for you final comment, well your like a broken record about garrycastle underage. The team is still in the top four in the county and has been the last 15 years bar 2. You don't need to be winning underage to be a successful senior club.

To be fair the plan is Connerton as manager and Donnellan as coach. My point is that 2 big enough outside names may not work but we'll see. Garrycastle never shy with decent appointments.
With regards to the remaining unknown jobs, it's a fair point that clubs don't need to advertise the fact they are sticking with outgoing management, it's just people on here close to the clubs might be able to confirm one way or other.
Any interesting appointments at Intermediate grade ?
