Melvin Gaels, at Kinlough? Know they border 3 counties and 2 provinces anyway. Maybe they cross over into those...

Unusual geographical club area.

1. Name the Club.

2. Is there any other club with similar geographical areas?"
Currin gaa is located in three counties. Most of the club is in monaghan, around 16 or so tow lands are in fermanagh and one townland is in cavan. So currin is partly in the EU Union and partly outside it.

Ballaghaderreen, the town is in Roscommon but famously they play in Mayo due to boundary changes in the 1890s but some of the parish is in Mayo and also in Sligo

Yeah a few got it correct.

It is the Melvin Gaels club in Leitrim.

Not sure how many know. Leitrim is not an inland county.

The village of Tullaghan on the Leitrim coast is 2km from Co Sligo and 1km from Bundoran.

A small part of Ballyshannon in Co Donegal (ulster) and Ballintrillick Co Sligo and off course Lovely Leitrim are all in Melvin Gaels club area.

Not Donegal. That part of county is covered by Buncrana.

The Wolfe Tones football club in Drogheda play their trade in the Wee County but their pitch is just over the border in Meath. I'm sure there are plenty other cases of this around the country. I think Bray Emmett's home pitch is in County Dublin.

If that is the case then it sounds like MG are poaching youth players. Ballintrillick may be in the parish of Kinlough/Glenade but it is certainly not part of the clubs catchment area, it is 100% part of the St Molaise Gaels club in Grange, Sligo. 2 current senior players from Ballintrillick on the squad!!!

Any player on the Donegal side should be playing for Bundoran unless they have a direct link to Melvin Gaels.
