It offers a clear pathway to grow participation and build momentum by putting hurls into every child's hand up to11. The failure of headquarters to act on this only raises serious questions- it reflects a reluctance at the top, where some in Gaelic football circles seeming to fear the growth and influence of hurling more than any other sport. If we're serious about our games, we should be backing ideas like this, not ignoring them.
