Just wondering what club will represent Galway in Connacht junior club this year ,,as the 4 teams in semi finals are all B teams they can't go forward , in hurling they have separate competition for junior clubs ,, Again football being shown lack respect,, also seen where Galway hurling has a budget of 700k for the year no word of football budget ,,-Also hurlers full Time S/ C coach with 8 people under him for all Galway hurling teams ,,I presume football is the same ,,,,,I have my doubts ,,

Well popey at least I'm basing my opinion on hard facts such as a match result while you running with 'form' a subjective variable in basing ones opinion.
Enough said.

Absolutely agreed. No way for smaller junior football clubs to develop with the current system of Big Clubs 2nd teams hammering them in Champo. Not that our board is bothered about the development of football though!

Big win for lettermore, expected more from aran, big spending on trainers and s&c coaches.
Dunmore will be no push over but I expect lmore to make the bounce back up.
Carraroe besting barna after et another team that wins the ones that need winning, barna fell down the ladder considerably this year.

As I said after Brendan's win over MB they were limited and would be exposed by Dunmore and it came to pass. I can't see Dunmore winning final, not yet.

But i would agree the standards of football in intermediate level is fairly poor despite the protestations of many on the forum.

Two best team advance.

Hopefully M/M can do it. They deserve so much credit for coming back every year. If they were in any other county in the country they'd have a county title or 2 in the past 7 years.

I just can't see past Corofin. Even if a team set up defensively Corofin with the wind with them can kick points from all over the field

Moycullen will regroup , we just left things too late but we never gave up. We will be back next year
Killannin lots of sloppy play that they can work on. But seriously need more than one man that's a proper scoring threat if they want to get past the QFs again

We have dominated club scene for years and I am very confident w will beat MM in final. I was very disappointed with kilannin and was surprised how a team that poor made the semis.

Not much there for PJ to work on from kilannin apart from heaney who was one of there better performers.

Barna were shocking yesterday in an absolutely awful game of football. Carroroe most certainly know how to win the big ones masters of survival.

Sooner they cut the senior championship to 12 the better. This was atrocious stuff to watch.

The fact you had to state that you were talking about Moycullen says it all really.

I might be disappointed at the result but Extremely proud of my club. The people who feel the need to stick the boot in go ahead . It says more about you than the fantastic panel of players I'm proud to see represent my parish.

Wishing M/M and Corofin good luck in the final.

We are all one county. Remember that

More PJ slagging from the same lads that would be praising the players to the heaven. He was there with O'Neill.

Is O Neill the new right hand man then, hard to see him allowing himself to be more than 1 step from the box seat

Ya good to see. Great game today mountbellew vs moycullen. Good open football played hard and fair. Plenry of good players on view. Good to see John Daly getting bsck to his best

That was fierce impressive from Mountbellew. Moycullen came at them with three or four scores in a row in the second and Mountbellew, playing into a strong breeze, took the game over and created three goals chances in a row with the last one taken by Daly. I give them a great chance in the final if John Daly is in that sort of form. Corofin also don't really have a defender that matches up very well with the size of Patrick Kelly,

You give out about lads slagging, shortly after your post slagging a whole club, who won the county title last year. A club who are providing some very important players to the county team at the moment.
Nobody should be slagging Joyce. People can comment on whether they think he's up to the job as Galway manager and give their reasons either way. Anything personal is unacceptable.
As for the football, a very impressive win by MM. 4 goals against Annaghdown and 3 yesterday. I'd love to see them over the line in the final. Nothing against Corofin, but a county medal would be well deserved for MM. They've been consistently there almost every year for the past 6 years.

John Daly outstanding yesterday, very impressive. Barely noticed the brother.

Was it Murray picking up Dessie Conneely? He did a great job. MM got away with a lot of fouling the 2nd half, ref should have issued a lot more yellow cards.

Final depends on what Corofin turn up, given it was MM who beat them last year I'd fear for MM.
