The venue is an absolute disgrace, should be parnell Park. That aside, Yes Kikdare did beat Louth 2 years ago in Tullamore, but Louth are different gravy now. Kildare will huff and puff but Louth need to win to get into the Sam Maguire, and when they need to win they find a way. Tough game but Louth to win by 4 or 5.

Calling all Kikdare fans on the Louth page, would ye not start a Kildare page, if you are so assured about your counties footballing abilities, you would think one of you would start a Kildare page. Like surely to god you would think, 1 of your 7 supporters would look after this???

I think bookies will give some value on Kildare in this game, I think Kildare will improve and be very confident going in to it. Louth might have hit their ceiling

Louth -1 5/6, Kildare +1 11/10

Replying To Ollie2:  "Yeah Louth are demoted if they lose to Kildare. Louth have reached their third Leinster semi-final in a row. This is the first time since 1998 that they achieved this. Louth are looking to reach the Leinster final for the third year in a row. They have only achieved this once between 1912 and 1914. Louth have never won a Leinster semi-final outside of Dublin and Louth."
That's a stat and a half. Louth aiming for a first/creating a bit of history.

I agree the venue is an absolute disgrace to the Louth supporters, Being brought to Newbridge last week for our "home " game was bad enough but to have to go to Tullamore instead of Navan or Parnell Park next week is shocking. Was any thought given to the extra expenses of supporters or the extra carbon use? I have nothing against Tullamore or its facilities. Indeed it's always good to play Offaly there. I don't think it will affect our players where the game is played. I am confident their next game will be in Croke Park. It's a supporters issue.

On the question of supporting the supporters I cannot understand why Louth County Board have fixed the Division 1 game Cooley v Pats for 7.00 on Sunday week in Cooley. The game was transferred from Saturday night for some reason but why fix it for Sunday. To my knowledge the Peninsula people are great supporters of the Louth team, irrespective of it's make up, They should not be expected to attend a game in Tullamore at 2.00 pm and then rush 157 km back to Cooley for a local derby at 7.00pm. More madness. You couldn't enjoy the sandwiches like that.

The issue in both the above cases is a lack of common sense. I worry for the future.

Another stat that will blow your mind is for the first time ever Louth, Meath, Dublin and Kildare all reach the semi-finals for the first time ever in the same season. History is there to be made.

Where are all the Louth fans staying in Tullamore on Saturday night, not familiar with the place to be honest.

Meath were missing in '57 when we took Kildare and Dublin. Hope history is there to be repeated,

With the price of everything I'll be bringing my tent and setting up in the middle of O Conner Park.

Would you believe it that Wicklow beat Meath in 1957? It is Wicklows only Championship win over Meath. Wicklow must be the unluckiest county after Louth. Bray Emmetts won the All Ireland when clubs represent counties back in 1890s. But they were repsenting Dublin at the time so Wicklow never got credited for it. With the amount of All Irelands that the Dubs you would think they give one to Wicklow.

First of all I want to congratulate the U20's on a superb win over the Dubs and making it to 2 final's in a row at that. I was at the game last night to what was the most appalling weather conditions I can remember since a NFL match v Westmeath in Haggardstown many years back, it's testament of how badly we need a place we can proudly call home and the county board need to be piling more pressure on Croke Park to get our project up and running again in giving the assurity to all that it will happen in the not so distant future, we talk of the inconvenience of venues when it comes to the Championship yet this is the biggest elephant in the room ffs.

Where's the go too pub for GAA banter in Tullamore on the Saturday night, say a few will stay over. Looks like we are close to a full squad for the game, and if so this game could be a cracker. Let's support the time with a big crowd as Kildare have a handy journey to this venue and will bring decent support as always. An Lu Abu.

Eugene Kelly's pub. There is a bar and lounge and it's the closest to the ground. Offaly are playing Galway in O Conner Park Saturday night so there should be some buzz in it.

Congrats to the Louth under 20s on a great win over the Dubs for the second year running. Another final against the arch enemy. Hopefully wee come out on the right side this time.

Will wee Sam Mulroy on the subs bench on Sunday? It was great to see Craig Lennon coming on against Laois and scoring a point straight away. The injuries are starting to clear up for Louth.

The best kept secret finally coming out during the week with Tommy Durnin finally going to the Marys. With another midfielder that played with Brian Fenton at club level transferring from Dublin to the Marys it's hard not to see the Marys doing the four in a row.
