Well done Louth fully deserved your 3 point win with 14 men from the 64 minute. Dare to dream now with one win away from reaching the final.

Well done to Louth,

Far better team today no excuses. Beggan a massive miss but the red card wiped that excuse out. The two mc Donnell's, maguire, Mulroy, Downey, Burns along with many more exceptional. Yous are so well set up defensively really impressive.

Some opportunity agaisnt mayo. They arent special would regard yous as a better all round team.

Also fair play to your support today brought the colour and the noise fair play. Hope yous fill croker the next day and get your lads over the line.

Incredible result for Louth yesterday, won't need to fear mayo at all. What's been the building blocks that'd lead to this side? Amazing to watch.

Increase in population with excellent work at underage. Louth will be around for a few years yet.

Louths underage is unreal really well looked after and brought through at the rite time for years louths under age was a joke.but last 5 6 years every young lad wants to play for louth not dundalk or drogheda.you wouldn't see a youngster with a louth jersey walkin the streets few years ago now its all u see its unreal.credit has to go to county board and all involved it didn't happen over night its years in making louth always had good small players now there is giants of men playin and there is better to come.colin Kelly's son James maguire brother is a monster of a man he will come in next year louth are here to stay at the top table

Why ? Louth did celebrate getting Mayo in the drawer ridiculously when they have not been in a semi in how many years

I'm guessing Peter Fitzpatrick had a big influence on Louths turnaround.

Manager in 2010 - chairman for a while - resigned after a burst up in 2023.

Bit like Brian McEniff in Donegal, Billy Morgan in Cork type -

No, Louth people celebrated not getting Kerry and a certain defeat. The only other team we could get was Mayo where at least we have a chance to be competitive. So, it was no reflection on Mayo or arrogance about the outcome.

Well lads, what a day yesterday from the young Louth warriors. I mean they gave it everything against a top Monaghan side. I still can't believe it especially after the first 6 minutes of being a man down and 4 points down. So proud of the team and management. Looking forward to the semi now. Thanks to Gavin, Peter and the team for these brilliant times which we only dreamt of in the not so recent past.

Did Mayo not want Louth in the draw?

HILARIOUS. Be thankful ye didn't get Dublin or Kerry, ye might have had to have the burns department in the Mater Hospital on standby.

No actually.
Mayo's record in finals v Dublin and Kerry is pretty bad.
Have a much better record against them in semis, especially when given no chance.
