Played the positive football today. Longford living off our mistakes. Same as last week. If we can cut that out and just pass the ball in front of our players we would have been in for a few more goals. Really are better than this in my opinion, but it's just not happening yet. Longford almost stole it in the end and we would then be on Zero poit.... hard to watch and ref spoiled it.

Good we got a point but nobody earned two .
Why do we have to watch this crazy stuff. Five and six lads passing a ball accross the half back line and then back to the goalkeeper who fists it to one of the lads who passes it to a Longford lad so they can do the same . Kerry and Dublin were at something similar last night. Our Yankee President would be better off trying to make our games more watchable than pushing Plan A or Plan

Five and six lads passing a ball accross the half back line and then back to the goalkeeper who fists it to one of the lads who passes it to a Longford lad so they can do the same . Now and again let our new goalkeeper James Califf come out to his old midfield spot to keep warm. Kerry and Dublin were at something similar last night. Our Yankee President would be better off trying to make our games more watchable than pushing Plan A or Plan B to suit the top lads,
I thought Niall Sharkey was our best player, He defended well, attacked with purpose and often kicked well. Sam saved us with the scores but hard to understand why he is full back at times .
Send for Frank Lynch

Rant over

Listened to it on LMFM - Seemed like the backs had a good day at the office. Some point by Sam at the end and that could lift them for 2 weeks. Grimes seemed to be way off the mark, first game back and all that. L
Limerick will be interesting, going well and surprised some so far, lets take them down :)

Possible imo but will have to be a big improvement in general play. Backs played well the last day, it's the joined up counter attacking style we have to get better at. Get that right and we will win.

Are the drinks on you Ollie? I'll sort out the draw. We could have the Blues in with the Pats and the Marys.

They sure are Greengrass. Blues, Marys and Pats would be some group alright.

Magnificent spirit from these lads. The last 15 minutes were as exciting as we have had in a while. In those conditions, away from home to hit seven points in a row was outstanding. Sam and Conor were excellent upfront but the tackling, support play and sheer effort from all of the lads was a credit. Up there with Armagh in 2013 as one of our best away days. Maith sibh uilig.

Worse still I couldn't travel to-day. Had to rely on Colm Corrigan who made it very exciting despite the horrible conditions . Great win. Congrats to Mickey and the boys. Now for the Ws,A and F
