Any info on Carlow SF panel. I believe they are back training.
New players??
Other players returned?
Haven't been on here in a while.
Carlow GAA twitter seems to have been taken over by bingo promos for every individual club in the county.

Well that's good news
I think we will do well in what's, going to be a very competitive Div 4. Promotion not out of the Question

Just wondering is there many lads from carlow involved with fitzgibbon cup and/or sigerson Cup panels this year. Its often a good indication of up and coming talent in a county.

Have they decided to skip the O'Byrne Cup?

They are not on the panel tonight.

Looking at the carlow team to play meath. A few newcomers and a few returning.
Looks like Carew is going to give all 45 players games in the 3 O'Byrne Cup matches.
Is not playing the 2 Clarkes, O'Brien,
Buggy etc. Dunphy not back from New Zealand yet.
Hope they do well. It's live on LMFM

Seemed like a decent display tonight. 4 point win not a fair reflection
I would call that a good run out.

Wouldn't read anything into these games, meath were very experimental maybe 2 or 3 regulars started

Not as many as planned I'd say, thinks winter flus have hit a few panels

Hurlers start today against Kildare with a very young team.

Great to see James Doyle back in and Ciaran Whelan back after injury.

Happy with what I saw and the style of play....We owned the 1st half. Possession probably 70% Carlow and led by 5 points.

We brought in several substitutions and debutants in 2nd half. Great to see.

Cut Meath defence wide open several times ..... Meath looked very average, they kicked a few nice long range points though in the 2nd half as did Darragh Foley throughout

Several more players will feature in the other 2 games and then I'd imagine they'll cut the panel for the league.

All in all though a very good challenge match.

How did it come that Lee Walker transferred club and co allegiance? I see he was listed for a start with Laois last nite?

Leix must be hard up so.

Leix poaching talented Carlow players is nothing new. They have never won anything, ever, without Carlow men on board. Shows how far they've slipped however when they're now recruiting a player who could never get a starting place with Carlow. Leix are there for the taking by anyone in Division 4 this year. Roll on the league, whatever about next Wednesday.

He scored 2 points, I think
Always thought he was, a decent player
Shame to see a man bearing a name steeped in Carlow football playing for those over the bridge
