Replying To inthru:  "The great Michael Murphy has decided to call it a day once more.

Big blow for Donegal as he still has a huge amount to offer but he owes us nothing."

Replying To TheYankman:  "Sad to see Murphy go but he owes us nothing what a servant he was. He can enjoy his club football now swilly will be strong team next year. Donegal will struggle next year in my opinion"

Replying To Lockjaw:  "Yeah he was sensational again in this year's club championship.
Is it true Glenswilly have recruited another county standard forward from down the country? They could be a dangerous animal in next year's senior championship.

Donegal will definitely fall down the pecking order. We were second favourites a few weeks ago with the bookies, now after the Roarty and Murphy news, we're out to 10/1. Time for others to step up, but we have to be realistic and patient as well. There is no like-for-like replacement for Murphy and perhaps there never will be."
