I've no idea which game you are talking about, I can't see the game/results you are talking about on your website, maybe you should talk to your own PRO.

Back again I see. Jesus I hadn't thought of stopping Clifford. Is he a good player aye?

Go away, you clown. It is spelled McGuinness, I see that you constantly spell it incorrectly on the blog too.

Jim would win an All Ireland with Mayo in previous decade or Galway today. Not a single doubt in my head.

He made three semi finals out of 4 in first phase and won three Ulsters and made two All Irelands.

We didn't get back to a semi final since he left for ten years and made only one semi final before his reign in 2003 when he was still playing in the previous 18 years.

He comes back and goes back to back on Ulster titles and semi finals in a highly competitive environment and now has us 70 minutes from potentially our 3rd ever all Ireland.

He's a genuine world class leader. How is this even being debated anymore?

I think we can win this final but we will have to be at our very best, Kerry are a serious outfit with probably the most lethal forward we'll ever see in David Clifford, if we can can contain him as much as possible and play like we can then we we will win.
Everyone is on Cloud 9 around here, a great final in store. Hope to God we can win it."
Where did Paddy say that? All I saw in the post match was that things were tough after Declan left, and 2023 in particular was a bad year.

All I took from that brief answer was Paddy respects Declan and things went bad after he was gone.

It's great having Jim at the helm but Bonner has been an incredible servant to Donegal football and did wonders bringing through majority of this panel we are lucky to have today.

I think it's either simply jealousy or good old fashioned Irish begrudgery.

To the Donegal posters in here... enjoy the next 2 weeks, ignore the few eejits who spend their time in here trolling , dont even reply to their stupid posts. There's plenty decent gaa posters to have proper discussions and a bit of proper banter with.

Your like the bad weather, your back again. Nobody is getting ahead of themselves. We know the task ahead but unlike yourselves we have a chance.

Your County is in disarray, don't know if you are coming of going. Shafted the manager disgracefully.

Mayo were in a Group with 3 Ulster teams and were eliminated with 3 qualifying. You have some neck to come on the Donegal Forum...you should be in hiding.

Obviously a top class manager but surely the lack of success since his first stint is as much an indictment of the interim managers as it is proof that McGuinness is the real deal.
It's hard to argue that he's not getting the most out of the resources he has, he certainly is, but on the other hand to be balanced he's not exactly making a silk purse from a sow's ear, there's a lot of talent in that Donegal squad.

Replying To Green_Gold:  "Another great second half performance from Donegal. We seem to be very strong in the second half of games. A few weeks ago everyone was saying we looked out of energy after hard Ulster run, no word on that now lol. Jim seems to have timed our run to perfection and we are beginning to look stronger with each game.

I thought Meath played well in the first 20 minutes, they just didn't capitalise on their good play. They kept going for two pointers and missing them. The two pointer is a real double edged sword, if you start missing them its drains the life out of you. It was a similar story for Tyrone the previous day. The winning margin flattered us but we did put in a brilliant second half performance. Best of luck to Meath going forward, thought their fans were brilliant yesterday and they really bring something to any occasion.

Special word for Conor O'Donnell, he is actually playing better than Murphy and Gallen. I love the way he is so direct, when he gets the ball he is immediately looking to take on his man. He reminds me of Darren O'Sullivan who used to play for Kerry. We have a brilliant full forward line and Paddy to come from the bench, could hardly ask for more than that.

The next two weeks will be all about tickets. I'll get my rant over now. If you are under 18 and a club member and gone to every game, you don't get a ticket. That is really unfair."
Fair play classy post.Even though we got a trimming the atmosphere was brillant before and during it(well first half hour or so).I'd like to see you win it and I dont have anything against Kerry just think they have had Sam enough. On Jim he seems to be ice cold (real professional) more so than when he won Sam last time.Is it pressure? just seems more robotic and not showing much emotion.Thats not a pop at him he is top notch and has turned yee right around.Yee broke away from the parade before it reached the hill which was a little disappointing but maybe that was a tactic as the Hill was mostly Meath?.Not sourgrapes as yee can do what yee want but just remember the Leinster final parade and it was electric atmosphere as both teams walked in front of the hill.

Jim is a fantastic manager who were lucky to have . If we win this all Ireland he'll rank up there as one of best managers ever. And believe me thell be no happier man than me to see sam back in the hills and to be proven wrong. I forgot too it took a certain manager to persuade Shaun patton to play for donegal and by good this must rank as one of the best decisions ever in donegal gaa..I was a proud donegal man leaving croker yesterday proud of jim and the lads hopefully there's one more big performance left in us. Sam is coming home ."
I think Jim ranks up there with the best ever managers even as it is, what he done in the first term to bring us to be Ulster Champions and All Ireland Champions from nowhere.
Then this time he comes in and the county senior team is in disarray, and within 2 years we are back to back Ulster Champions and he has us back in another All Ireland final, that is some achievement on it's own whether we win or lose this final.
I don't believe any other manager could have done what he has done for Donegal in 2 years and who knows what lies ahead, if I see us win the All Ireland one more time I'll die happy.
