Thing is I'll support whoever manages Donegal, I'm not a spoilt child like you, that after a few bad results I throw my toys out of the pram and stop supporting Donegal. No time for so called supporters like you. lol

Yea it's terrible we haven't played a game yet. But did you not know there's alot of hidden agendas on here. Hopefully all goes well for Jim and the lads.

I hope you will get behind Jim roryboy now and don't be on here sniping about every wee thing, great to have a top manager back in charge that's for sure.

I don't operate like that, I don't attack any manager. They all deserve respect, unlike you with your personal vendettas. What are you hoping for this year. An Ulster title and maybe an all Ireland semi final. Won't be easy without Murphy but.

I can only say if anyone is here sniping about McGuinness already then they don't want the best for Donegal football. It's like complaining about the Porsche on your driveway. Complain until you're driving a Fiat Panda and then maybe be satisfied. Some lunatics out there. Donegal_abroad (Donegal) - Posts: 1384 - 15/12/2023 18:52:29 2516981 Link 0 |
What personal vendetta? you are a funny boy alright, I think the focus has to be the All Ireland series, promotion would be good but Jim might have his mind on getting things right for later on, I don't think Ulster will be a big priority, depending on how he gets them playing though anything is possible, there's plenty of talent in this county despite you saying here for years that we don't, even if we don't have Michael at FF, Jim will get the best out of them I have no doubt about that. That's what a great manager does. Tirchonaill1 (Donegal) - Posts: 2995 - 15/12/2023 19:03:58 2516982 Link 1 |
You don't know Jim too well if you don't think Ulster will be a big priority. That game against Derry will be mentioned every night at training. That's the game Jim is targeting, Jim wants to win every game so he definitely will prioritise Ulster. He win Ulster in his first year in 2011 so why not now. He has picked a strong team for tomorrow so he means business from the start.

Yes I'm very happy and looking forward to the new year, some change from the mess of recent times, night is darkest just before the dawn. Tirchonaill1 (Donegal) - Posts: 2995 - 16/12/2023 11:34:15 2517036 Link 0 |
See Jims first team selection up on facebook for Roscommon game, looks strong enough team but dont see any players from the top in Club the County. jacktheboy (Donegal) - Posts: 447 - 16/12/2023 18:40:03 2517080 Link 0 |
I know a strong team was named but I'd be surprised if it actually started! It's a charity game first and foremost, so naming a weak team might not be great for the attendance! SignTheContract (Donegal) - Posts: 197 - 16/12/2023 19:05:37 2517081 Link 0 |
The changes on the executive are very positive, thanks be to God. Fergus McGee seems to have been an absolute gentleman, and I feel sorry for him. A serious team named for tomorrow, can't wait to see what's in store. SouthOfTheGap (Donegal) - Posts: 699 - 16/12/2023 19:22:37 2517085 Link 0 |
I see the couple of lads who were saying there are 2 sides to every story bla bla bla have been very quiet since the people who needed to get the road are finally gone. TheFlaker (Mayo) - Posts: 8096 - 16/12/2023 22:51:48 2517113 Link 7 |
I suspect he'll play the strongest team. Heard of one player at a wedding last Friday drinking orange juice cause he had the game in Sunday. Apparently they're out 7 times a week, 4 on the pitch, 3 in the gym!

Ok I'll try again. Nobody is trying get on Jim's back. From what I heard and I'm sure it'll make the way to your ears soon on how Paul was dropped.

Any reports back from Ballyshannon this afternoon? peiledoir20 (Donegal) - Posts: 1003 - 17/12/2023 16:30:43 2517195 Link 0 |
Donegal looked in good shape today in Ballyshannon. That winter sunshine training in Tenerife showed. We in comparison have a lot of work to do before a very challenging Div 1 campaign. The_analyser (Roscommon) - Posts: 3899 - 17/12/2023 16:48:52 2517200 Link 0 |
Enjoyed the game today in Ballyshannon. Very youthful Donegal panel. Jim building for the future. ryan (Donegal) - Posts: 747 - 17/12/2023 16:52:01 2517201 Link 0 |
