I see Oisin Gallen was named player of the championship.

I'm not criticising him, can I have an opinion on anything without being accused of criticising.. you say you heard nothing yet you can have a go at me for having an opinion when I know what happened. Im fully behind jim why wudnt I be.

It's funny how the same fella who always backs the managers to the hilt and wants everyone to do the same is already questioning this manager on the first bit of news - that's based on rumour and hearsay.

Yeah, I heard nothing about the circumstances of any player and how they were dropped or removed from the panel. So, in that case, I'll trust that Jim did it the right way until I hear otherwise. You seem to know something about Brennan? If so, let me know and I'm happy to reconsider the above.

The username says it all and still has it despite recent events regarding that individual. Dunno how many times I've read the comment "he's not ever coming back" or words to that effect. Well he is back. Just a shame there is no more county forum anymore.

Ah stop will you, I'm not criticising Jim why would I. I'm just answering a fellow poster. I probably know too much about what's happening in Donegal gaa for my own good. I have the jersey bought looking forward to Sunday. Hopefully big days in clones and croker. Nice to see new faces on the board hopefully the start of a successful period. In Jim we trust. Be nice seeing all the old faces back this year yous were missed. Dun na gall Abu.

Thoroughly deserved. He is an outstanding player who will hopefully remain injury free in 2024. There is no doubt that in order to be successful a county needs a marquee forward or two. Gallen can certainly be that player for us and hopefully Paddy McBrearty can give us one or two more years as well.

Does anyone know the home McKenna Cup fixture? I would say there will be a right good crowd at it, weather permitting.

Absolutely there is excitement and hope back again and thank God for that after the mess we came through in recent times.
Hopes are realistic and I know Jim will do his best to get the best out of the players he has,
that's all you can ask of any man.

Be nice to see you back out at games. As the saying goes you can't beat being there. Better book my season ticket , hopefully the season tickets numbers will rise.

A great boost to the coffers after the JP McManus donation.
Hopefully it will be used wisely, and perhaps more importantly - transparently.

I dont think there will be a rush to buy Season Tickets at €150 each. Entrance to the first Championship match with the Season Ticket has been done away with. Cheaper to buy Tickets to League matches per game.

To be split evenly amongst the clubs for all 4 codes apparently, well needed boost for some clubs in the midst of works and developments

The money is to go to each club equally, which is only fair.

So if a club only has an adult football team, do they get the same as one who has senior men, women, and hurling?

In a side note, imagine how much he's putting into Limerick!

Hope you've got over your wee man crush on Bonner now and will give Jim and the boys your full support roryboy.
The Messiah is back in charge after you telling us ad nauseum that it would never happen.

The hidden politics starting back up again. A few posters looking to get another manager gone already so they can get their own man, whoever that may be, back in. Rinse and repeat.

Haven't a clue to be honest, the likes of Carn could use the money for each code but for Eunans they'd be getting 4x the money of a team fielding only senior men which would be a bit in excess
