Replying To Tirchonaill1:  "Kilcar v NC should be in Ballybofey, crazy decision to play it in Fintra."
What has happened to Tirconnaill Park.No big games there in recent years. The new pitch in Ballyshannon might have been an option for the game ,after all it is only 15mins on a very good road from Donegal.

Distance wise Kilcar,Gaoth Dobhair and St Eunans supporters have the games on their doorstep,If they are protecting McCool Park then Convoy is a good enough alternative after all it is only 5 miles from Ballybofey.

Totally agree, redicalus decision to play the match in Fintra for health & safety reasons. Not enough parking and a very dangerous corner for walking where excess traffic patk on the road.

amazing how the Donegal GAA website and facebook page couldn't put up the information on venues for the weekend's games, yet they can manage to put up the links to buy the tickets. 4 posts already yesterday and today with ticket links

Replying To peiledoir20:  "Get Kilcar supporters to park up at the Blue Haven and run a shuttle bus down to Fintra."
Was thinking similar, could Glenties supporters park in Killybegs somewhere and get shuttle buses out to Fintra?
Some entreprising local bus men could make a handy few pound!

Just seen that it says St.Marys. I thought they'd infused the new centre of excellence to showcase the money that has been spent?

Hi eunans4ever: Aodh Rua will be very defensive but won't score much. 10 or 11 points might be enough to win by 3 or 4.

Ah you are back. I never mentioned the field in Fintra, we have no problem with the venue from a football point of view.
Be careful with your over confident attitude, it could come back to bite you like last year.......
We in Naomh Conaill treat every team with the respect they deserve and may the best team win on the day.

MacCumhaill Park will be held for both semi finals. Kilcar v Naomh Conaill should be in Tir Conaill Prk, it's strange that that game, or Aodh Rua v St Eunans, is not being held there.
Winners: Naomh Conaill, St Eunans, Gaoth Dobhair, Glenswilly.

Yes they are falling into the trap of trying to copying the ultra defensive stuff that originated in 2005 over in glenties/Fintown - they don't have the players to do that or the mgr and the masters have perfected it

I never said u mentioned a field……

If you have no confidence going into a game then balding bother turning up.

It's like the years previous final where glenties/Fintown were tapped up as the greatest club team ever , couldn't b beaten and were destined to lift ulster and then got beaten by one of the biggest margins and one sided games ever in a county final , guess what - it happens……….

That is true but it is still a sensible venue for that game.It is not too far from McCools either.
