Would you know when it happened during the game? So I can see it back

I said I thought Killoe would shade it. No doubt both teams will be back in the mix next year as well. My own club Slashers need to start upping their game at underage level like Killoe and Clonguish. So they can produce championship contending teams again.

About 5 minutes into the second half. Killoe player came flying in from the side, closed fist, swinging arm. No intent to play the ball. Referee looking straight at it. Commentator could believe what he was seeing for the referee! Gave a free against Clonguish!!! Clonguish player brought to hospital for X rays on a suspected fractured jaw.

What game did the happen in?
In the Longford game the ref gave the free to Killoe, presumably because the Clonguish player had the cheek to fall to the ground after been struck!! The ref was less than 10 yards away looking straight at it.

Lol

Your own club now has a Killoe man at the helm as of yesterday. The upping has already begun :-)

Would not have been expecting a Killoe man to take on a close rival team like Slashers. Great coup for Slashers

Big rivals but relations between the clubs have always been good on and off the pitch. A lot of players past and present would be good friends . Doubt the talent is in Slashers at the moment for Tommy to have big success , but most in Killoe will wish him all the best (up to a point!!!)

Its that time of year when the manager merry go round starts again. How many clubs have no manager at the minute and how many have been filled already?

Its looking like less Westmeath men will be involved in Longford clubs next year anyway. From what I have heard, Ryan Plunkett has stepped down from Abbeylara and the Carrickedmond manager has also stepped down.

I am also informed that John Twaddle who was involved with Clonguish this year will be ratified as the Mullingar Shamrocks manager either this weekend or early next week.

Intresting to see a killoe man trying to stop killoe from winning the championship next year. Slashers will always be a big pull for a manager.
Any other new appointments expected with the big clubs ? Mullinalaghta maybe might be looking for a new manager ?

I have not heard about the Twaddle link to Mullingar, but he will not be back with Clonguish next year.
After what he did with Clonguish this year, he deserves to be the main man at a good club.
He showed what he can do while with Moate.

If that is true, it will be a huge blow to us.
He had the lads flying this year, their fitness levels was the best I've seen in years with them.

No word on a new manager for us yet.

Slasher9, don't you think by now that you should be able to accept that I am a Drumlish man and no matter how hard you try I will not be switching allegiance to Clonguish.
Sure wouldn't you think with the year they have had, that I would be 'coming out' as a Clonguish supporter?
In fairness, you are giving me a good laugh with how hard you are trying lol

No word on a new manager? I would hope not as your season is still not over.
